Herpes can be cured. The research into vaccines and cures... yes cures is out there. There are major studies in progress at all the major universities and virologic centers. One of the first companies to commercialize this research is viradux. Their viradux-AU came on the market in 2012 and ended my disease in its tracks. I had given up on a cure, and with so many scams an hoaxes had decided to just live with my constant outbreaks. A friend in Australia told me it worked. The rest is history. I think if you have it as like the lip blister sort as a kid or young adult, you just outgrow it after some decades if you are generally taking good care of yourself. I can't speak for the "down below" type. I used to get the shit on my lip, but it was never noticeable. Just these minute little water blisters that itched like the dickens, and I'd show people and they'd be like "I don't see anything" but it was there. I think for many people it just goes away and you probably get some type of lasting immunity as well.
