Another question for those who believe in reincarnation
What will you do if you ever meet an individual who says he/she is the reincarnation of person X and you just happen to also be the reincarnation of that exact same person X?

Reincarnation is founded on no two reincarnated individuals ever meeting by chance! Even so, most reincarnated people claim to be, especially under hypnosis or past-life regression, "a nobody from nowhere" whose history can't be verified.

And you know that there are a great many people out there who claim to be the reincarnation of famous or at least better-known individuals(Edger Cayce for example).

So what if I told David Wilcox that I am the reincarnation of Edger Cayce; or I have a friend who is; or some of you know another who claims to be.

It all begins to fall apart when reincarnated people get together.

Don't fall for that lie of reincarnation. Believe in something whose history can be verified.

Re: Another question for those who believe in reincarnation
Some people do go as far as believing in a life that they had lived just so they can get some recognition, and then others do truly believe in their past life because they have their own supporting reasons. I've heard plenty of stories that I've been told by people who are well convinced of their former lives, and each time I listen I become more astonished how real it all sounded. There have even been stories about children who were able to describe their past life so perfectly, and many believe that when you are a child you can still have memories of your past life before the memories of this life settles in. I've had my own thoughts that I have always kept secret, then have people come to me and give me readings only to say exactly what I was thinking about what dealt with a past life.

I agree that there is no rock hard evidence, when it comes to past lives it's more of a personal belief.. If it's fake, then at least we still get some interesting stories.. Yet I've never heard different people claiming that they were the same person in a past life, that would be quite a twist C:

Re: Another question for those who believe in reincarnation
You really need to restudy on reincarnation. You don't get it at all.

Furthermore, it has been verified. In fact, we have the 14th Dalai Lama right right now. Before a child is selected as the Dalai Lama, he must pass tests on his memory of his past life. Every time, only 1 child passes these tests.

The Dalai Lama continually reincarnates with some memory of his past life, and is able to confirm objects and to give brief narration of certain memories.

Reincarnation is real, the only thing in these situations that can be questioned is whether or not the person is correct in who they remember themselves to be.

You can take a math quiz and get the equations wrong. That does not make math nonexistent.

You can take a "reincarnation quiz" and get it wrong. That doesn't magically make reincarnation fake. Especially since you have even more reason to get that wrong, since our memories are wiped at birth.

Re: Another question for those who believe in reincarnation
So you are Ab Lincoln reincarnated, so what? That's not what it's about. It's like driving a car, last one was a Lincoln but now you want to try a Prius. You are looking to expand your experience with each reincarnation. At some point you will realize none of it matters because you will always be you and then your investigation begins in earnest.

Re: Another question for those who believe in reincarnation
Belief is not a part of this, knowing is enough. This is not a religious thing, just something like waking and sleeping. It is not important whom you were, only what you are.

Each of us are like a hand with many fingers, each an individual, yet one. So all this speculation is pointless, just live in the now.

Re: Another question for those who believe in reincarnation
There was a scientific study of reincarnation called Biology and Reincarnation that statistically proved the phenomena is happening, with better odds than DNA in a courtroom murder case.

Here is the link:

Also the Bible teaches reincarnation in several sections:

John the Baptist was "Elijah come again"
The Pharisees of Jesus time also killed the ancient prophets.
The blind man at the gate chose his next life.
A dog must return to his vomit / What you sow shall ye reap

Reincarnation was removed by Constantine, not the apostles, as Christians were saying he would be murdered in his next life for killing Gnostics in his present life.

It is about holographic memory....

If you want you can be the reincarnation of anyone, because you are tapping into the collective human memory. Available for all.....if you know how to access
