The problem is....what if this success was spurious?

What if Mubarak seemingly 'finds support'?

After all, what effectively occurred was a military coup in violation of the Egyptian constitution that can now be attributed to American influence over the Egyptian military.

What is this opposing element within the Egyptian military? Is this a pro-Mubarak front? Say they regain power, how will they respond to this apparent American imposition on their sovereignty? Does this equate to an Israeli/Zionist assault on the Egyptian nation?

Things are never what they seem IMO, especially in this ill-fated world.
