Maybe you can answer this for me:
Yesterday I noticed on one of my solar charge controllers that control an array of 6, 4.5 amp panels was charging at 29.1 amps. The math doesn't work but that's exactly what happened. Each of my charge controllers are rated at 30 amps so by putting 6, 4.5 amp panels on each one I figure I'm within the safety range, but it's still winter...what will happen this Summer? Is it possible that my panels can pick up more energy from the Sun due to a weakened magnetosphere or increase in solar activity?

If it was malfunctioning it would flash a code at me...then I'd have to get out the code book and figure it out...the sun kept poking in and out of the clouds so it's hard to say about the others...I didn't have time to stand there and watch them all, I just noticed that one because it should be no higher than 27 amps and it caught my eye. It would be interesting to see how they react during this comming flare; still don't know if we will be rotated into its direction yet or not.
