I've always thought that our universe, and space, is a makeup of something much bigger. And solar systems die, just as cells, molecules and atoms in our own body deminish. It was just freaky to see this pic.

The atom picture is a miss-representation. The individual electrons to not 'orbit' the neucleus that actualally move erattically in layers. That it just an easy to understand diagramatical representation.

As for the universe picture, thats a guesstimation.

Don't be an idiot...the pictures and comparisons are quite real. The picture above left is indeed a close up of human neuological activity, and the picture to the right is indeed our universe on a larger scale then we usually see it. I believe that there is more to the creator theories then any of us can truly comprehend. God, or whatever you wish to refer to this omnipotent creator as.......obviously is a part of the subatomic, micro, and macro....God, is apparently a part of everything in existence....

This might sound strange, but when I meditate, I see a spiral. What happens is, first I just see the blackness of my mind. But after a while I get sort or flashes of grey dots and sometimes a bit of blueish or purplish flashes. Then if I just stay in this state without going into a dream, I kind of get stuck halfway between dreaming and awake. When it happens I see a vortex of spinning kind of grayish lavender.

I don't know how to explain it because I only did this a few times. Mostly I just go into a dream. But sometimes I can sort get stuck halfway because I don't let myself got to sleep and I don't let myself wake up. It has to be so quiet in the house for me to do it, and usually it happens if I took a sleeping pill or some meletonin so I am very relaxed.

I don't think I have ever had an OBE. I am not sure. It doesn't feel like I am really in my body but it doesn't feel like a dream either. There is also a lot of strange whishing sounds and random beeps and tweets that I hear when this happens. I've read that that happens when you are about to astral project. Maybe this is what it is. I don't know. It is strange because it sort of looks like I am looking at my own brain waves, if that makes since. I don't know how to decribe it, because it isn't really like I am thinking much at the time. I haven't gotten to the "all is one" state yet, I think. I know some people say they feel really connected to everything when meditating, but I still feel like me. Maybe if I could let go of my ego, I could feel connected too.

Kewl! Like others, I think everything goes up in size and down in size and we are only aware of our own spot along this chain of events.
