Can I get a christian perspective on this matter?

I am a Christian Minister and have been for over 30 years.

The PTB of the time saw the one that we call Jesus as a threat to their power base! He wasn't the 'king that was going to liberate the people from the Roman oppression' that they wanted, yet he had a growing following. His message was of peace and love not war and rebellion. Hence they wanted him out of the way!

I think that is a very correct assessment! Well said.....applause

My grandfather was studying to be a Rabbi. He was taught that Jesus was a liar and a charlatan! My gradfather never completed his training - he came to the personal conclusion that what he was taught to believe was not correct!

There is no light within you if you partook in crucifiction. So in a sense you are the ones that ending up killing your self. Christ lives on eternal hence the saying no man gets to the father except through Me being the only true one.

Just because the Catholic Church was the government, did not allow freedom of religion, and commissioned a calendar based on its religion, only means that a government that is a religion has a lot of power. Does that make it right?

It might have something to do with the fact that Jesus hid away for 40 days after he resurrected till his ascension.

This is the dumbest damned argument ever.

January... From the God Janus...
February... From the God Februus...
March... From the God Mars...
April... To Open...
May... From the Goddess Maiesta...
June... From the God Juno
July... Julius Caesar's birth month
August... In honor of Augustus
September... Septem, or Seven
October... Octo, or Eight
November... Novem, or Nine
December... Decem, or Ten

Do show us where Jesus is in this calendar, chumpsky.

Furthermore, Jesus was not born in year 0, or even year 1. If Jesus existed AT ALL, he was born before 4 BC.

Thanks for playing, please try again.

One of the posters here has written up a pretty good discussion on this: Thread: There is no Biblical evidence that Christ is of the seed of King David. In fact, the Bible proves He is not.

A small snippet for the lazy:

There is another another major problem with claiming that Matthew traces Mary's ancestry back to King David. In Matthew 1:12, the given lineage from King David to Joseph (and supposedly to Mary) includes Jechonias. Now the Old Testament prohibits any seed of Jechonia (a.k.a. Jechonias and Coniah) from ascending to the throne of David:

“Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not? O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah” (Jeremiah 22:28-30).

Of course, there is also an additional problem with Luke's account of Christ's ancestry. Luke traces Mary's genealogy to King David through David's son Nathan; however, the Old Testament says that the Messiah would be the seed of David's other son Solomon (1 Chronicles 28:5; 1 Chronicles 29:1 and 1 Chronicles 29:24). So even of the lineage given in Luke applied to Mary (which it does not), her son is not qualified to sit on the throne of David.

Now you create all this drama with all these deceptive threads trying to cover up your deceptive deeds however it is done and you can not take it back and you now need to accept your eternal fate cut off from Spirit as you created it in your choices given by God's free will.

Re: Question: Why did the Jews reject Jesus as Messiah after the Ressurection?
What is the Messiah supposed to accomplish? The Bible says that he will:

A. Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).

B. Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).

C. Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. As it says: "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore." (Isaiah 2:4)

D. Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. As it says: "God will be King over all the world—on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One" (Zechariah 14:9).

The Messiah was to be a Prophet. Jesus was not a prophet.

The Messiah is to be a human, born of human parents. Not a god, demi-god, or supernatural person.

The Messiah is to be of the line of David.
Jesus has no human father, thus he cannot be of the line of David. Even pretending to discount this for a moment, see above post.

The Messiah will lead the Jewish people to full Torah observance. The Torah states that all mitzvot (commandments) remain binding forever, and anyone coming to change the Torah is immediately identified as a false prophet. (Deut. 13:1-4)

There are many other reasons, but this gives you a quick overview, OP.

Re: Question: Why did the Jews reject Jesus as Messiah after the Ressurection?
PEOPLE THERE WAS NO RESURRECTION. HE LIVED AND WENT ON TO INDIA. IT WAS HIM WHO BLINDED SAUL WHO WAS CHASING HIM DOWN, HE USED FIREWORKS.

RESURRECTION IS OF THE SOUL PEOPLE NOT THESE BODIES. NONE OF THESE BODIES CAN SURVIVE ON THE WORLDS OF HEAVEN.

NOW SOME OF YOU BELIEVE WE HAVE AN UPCOMING RESURRECTION. WE DO AT THE CLOSE OF THIS AGE. PLEASE DON'T THINK ALL THOSE DEAD PEOPLE WHOSE BODIES ARE LONG IN THE EARTH ARE GOING TO HAVE THEIR BODIES RESURRECTED, IT IS THEIR SOULS THAT WILL BE. AND ACTUALLY HTAT HAS BEEN GOING ON NOW FOR YEARS.

AND ALL WHO HAVE REACHED 3RD CIRCLE SPIRITUAL LEVELS, ALWAYS GET TO GO TO HEAVEN IN 3 DAYS AFTER THEY PASS SINCE THE TIME OF CHRIST 2000 YEARS AGO. PRIOR TO THEN, LUCIFER MADE THEM STAY HERE. HE WAS DEPOSED THEN. AND ALL THAT ARE NOT YET 3RD CIRCLE, HAVE TO WAIT ON A SPACE AVAILABLE BASIS, AND ARE RESURRECTED AT INTERVALS, OFTEN EVERY 1000 YEARS BUT IT VARIES.

Re: Question: Why did the Jews reject Jesus as Messiah after the Ressurection?
Additionally, there are prophecies CLAIMED that jesus supposedly fulfilled, but they aren't even prophecies (why would they need to make them up??)

Jeremiah 31:15- supposedly fulfilled prophecy that wasn't even a prophecy and definitely not a messianic one

John 19:36- claims Jesus fulfilled some "not a bone will be broken" prophecy, which doesn't exist

Hosea 11:1- Claims this is a prophecy, and it isn't one at all

Micah 5:2- supposedly jesus fulfilled this one, but it's unlikely because Bethlehem Ephratah is a clan, not a city; and the prophecy refers to a military leader, not the messiah

FOLKS THERE WERE NO JEWS BACK THEN. THE KHAZARS CREATED THAT FOR THEMSELVES IN THE 1700'S. AND THEN PUT IT IN THE BIBLE. THEY WERE NEVER FROM THAT AREA. TO LEAD PEOPLE BACK TO ISRAEL WAS NOT A COUNTRY, BUT A STATE OF BEING, A LEVEL OF UNDERSTANDING GOD. THERE WAS NO LAND CALLED ISRAEL BACK THEN.

A messiah is a teacher. He came to teach. All souls have always been saved, everywhere in the creation. All humans are saved, but they can reject eternal life and often do. after all, eternity is a very long time. There are 5.8 TRILLION planets with humans on them folks!!!! ponder that one.
