This one is strange....A 3.5 located 11 miles south of Gulf Shores Alabama. Don't remember seeing one in that area before.

Your not alone. I remember when I was 4 in 79', I heard what sounded like a herd of a thousand cosmic elephants approach from the south. I was in Del Mar. Then, wham, the groud shock so fast. Us brothers ran to hold up the first color TV we ever had. I would re-think that these days.

I wonder why alot of dooms-day maps show most of the Cali coast under water, but, SD seems to be shown above sea level. Anyone know why?

yes. i have heard before that most of the chile earthquakes this year have been either aftershocks of last years big earthquake, and could even possibly be aftershocks of the 9.0+ they had about 50 years ago. aftershocks could go on for a couple of months or a couple of years.
