Well, for starters, if there is any merit to the "pole shift" rumor for the following week (March 15), news of Obama's ineligibility coupled with a government shut-down would give us enough to digest so that we don't think to LOOK UP and notice our surroundings!

It might also give Obama the excuse he needs to go into "hiding" (read: bunker) for a while if he feels there could be some threats on his life from any breaking news on his eligibility. If the government shuts down on that same day (assuming they have foreknowledge of an impending natural disaster), you can bet where they are headed as well.

Then, one week later, when no American has seen a sign of our Resident OR our government, we will just assume it's a result of this case and the grid-lock over the budget! We won't even know what hit us! I am making a few assumptions here but you get my meaning! For the record, I don't believe we are going to see a pole shift on March 15th. Not ruling one out for later but just trying to look at what the possible benefit of a distraction would be!
