Question for all you bakers: How long does yeast last? Is the Expir. date accurate? If not, how long can I keep/use past? I have often wondered. Thanks for all the great bread ideas.  Depends on the type of yeast you are storing. Here's a starting link [ link to www.thefreshloaf.com]
