They claim that the comet's discoverer, Russian amateur astronomer Leonid Elenin, does not exist, and the name is a code based on ELE = Extinction Level Event. This is not only wrong but crazy. Do they think that if anyone really wanted to keep this comet secret they would use an obvious code like this to tell us that it was likely to hit Earth? Truly weird!

So pundits think Leonid Elonin is fictional and a code word for Extinction Level Event on 9/11/11. His comet is a disguise for Planet X and it will also produce a pole shift on March 15th. All mainstream is covering it up and thousands of astronomers and hobbyists are in to the plan too.

According to NASA current "offical" calculation the size of the come is over 10km in diameter and it will miss earth by 0.23 AU and nobody knows if he brings other smaller fragments with it and how big its tail is.

though it even didnt pass the asteroid belt yet and nobody knows what effect the gravitational influence from other planets and the sun will have.

So stop fuckin sayin its no danger and stop fuckin saying its nibiru or will destroy earth. time will tell.

Plenty of small comets have buzzed us in the past. Did Comet Encke get any coverage? How about Ikeya-Zhang, or 96P/Machholz?

This is baseless, needless hysteria.

We've passed through the tail of countless comets. McNaught was massive, and flew right by us, virtually, and we suffered no damage.

That certainly doesn't stop some people from citing Nostradamus as an attempt to justify their claims, but when you have people like McCanney claiming that 'McNaught will cause massive devastation' and the Heaven's Gate crowd, it gets a little silly.

Oh, and comets do not cause pole shifts, otherwise the fly-bys would have reversed them too many times to count.
