Of the 300 that left Tripoli, only 168 to 200 were Americans. total Americans that were in Libya were 600 to start with. Some took flights, all were warned, so they say...anyway they didnt need a damn battleship. |

[link to mypetjawa.mu.nu] They can't send military ships into Libya. It may prevoke a military retaliation. Canada has many cargo planes in waiting in Italy and are grounded for the same reason. We just sent a charter plane to Tripoli to pick up some 200+ Canadians this morning and none were waiting for some reason. No idea why. The plane came back with only the pilots. |
