When you fly over the Midwest you will see that all the fertile land is now farmland to feed people. That used to be tall grass prairie where buffalo could roam for a hundred miles without fences. Fly over the northeast from Massachusetts to Chesapeake bay and you will see nothing but dense cities separated by suburbs without a hint of wilderness anywhere.
