it take 2 to 3 days for the solar flare to reach earth. depended on the speed of the flare

except its not a coronal hole! It's a CME! And hey, it's on Stereo B too, because both of them are now 180 degrees and see all of the sun. so my guess is this is roughly coming from the "middle" of the back side of the sun.

Because it was on the BACK on the Sun, not the front. If there are current SOHO images at the same time as the event and it didn't show, this pretty much puts it in the MIDDLE of the back of the sun.

What's the probability we will get hit as we approach the Solar Max?!?!

NO, the X Flare was quite some time ago now, And the xray flares arrive in minutes. if this was an xray flare with this CME is was opposite us. There is none recorded today here. [link to www.swpc.noaa.gov]

Please REMEMBER PEOPLE despite all the BLING out there, that A, B, C, M, and X xray flares are NOT CMEs!!!!!! A CME MAY HAPPEN with them, but as to earth affects, it is not the same event. Flares arrive in a matter of minutes, CME's arrive in 1 to 5 days, rarely one day, most often 3 to 5 days.
