i wish i could tell the difference but i just moved from the west to the east coast and am not sure how saturated they were in this area to begin with.
i would look out on youtube for this though.

Yea, he's got it right. Contrails are caused by warm engines of planes at high elevation where it is extremely cold and icy, similar to when you fogy breath on a cold day, but just like your breath they go away quickly. Chemtrails stay and soon expand to incredible size (I have watched one go from a line to a thin but large cloud.)
