You did not look at the time stamp on this image: 2-25-11 5:34 UT [link to www2.nict.go.jp] And the bright spot on the image was probably from behind the sun and might be Mercury, but I am no expert about that. See the link below: [link to iswa.gsfc.nasa.gov:8080] However, I do think something is up and strange. I have never seen the NOAA links down like they have been since the X-flare. There is no explanation and of course we won't get one either. |
