hmmm, Yellowstone started rumbling at 6:30 this morning. When it blows the partys over.

actually looks more calm now then it did earlier, but thats just my opinion. ive been monitoring whenever ive had a chance. and the wind there has been high and known to cause some disturbance to the seismos. still, we have to stay vigilant if it gets worse in the coming days(or weeks)

I purchased a compass two weeks ago and have been monitoring it closely.

It has been consistently off about what looks like approx. 6 minutes to the East... minutes if it were a clock. 6 degrees I guess? anyway, everytime I ck it it has been in this same position or relatively close to same...

up until this morning when I got up.

the first thing I noticed is that it was pointing straight up (North) and that the six degrees to the East had disappeared overnite.

like it jerked back to what used to be straight up north from my location.

I was shocked.

does anyone know why this would have happened and what it means?

i have friends in northern utah.When it erupts will my friends died from the eruption?
