The hippies were railroaded by the CIA who introduced LSD to them. They thought they were revolutionaries. In reality just were just a bunch of guinea pig idiots.

labels can be traps however and separate people, if you label yourself a democrat there is an opposite and bickering usually happens or if you label yourself a Muslim that will get you in trouble in North America these days

Actually it didn't backfire. It just kept the hippies in a constant state of being dazed and confused and therefore effectless against TPTB. Besides, 80% of them went on to become part of that very system they purported to despise. What a joke.

So you answered my question. Being "dazed and confused" isn't a side effect of psychedelics. It is a side effect of some kind of downer, which psychelics are not. Not in the least. You would know if you had tried them. They are a glaring mirror and most are not brave enough to face that mirror.

You were right about one thing, yes, it (LSD) did make them "effectless" against the PTB not because they were drugged, but only because they saw the futility of fighting a useless system that would eventually burn itself out, like it is now. They gave up and surrendered to the flow of life rather than fighting against the current. It is a very Buddhist/Eastern idea that came about in America in the 60 and was squashed by corporate interests only wanting to make profits. And where you came up with the idea that they (hippies) became a part of something they despise is just downright silly. They saw beyond their own hatred for the system. Surrender is the key to happiness. Hippies knew that. Buddha knew that and preached it and so did Christ. Not that it matters. What matters is going beyond all ideas and just letting go. Most "hippies" understood that on a deep level not unlike serious yogis. Western limited thinking just boxes everything in. What defines you confines you.

NO MAN can tell you what your rights are, nor can some piece of paper. They come from outside of our power ... does a dog ask if it can take a crap? No .. it does not. In the same way our rights are given to us. It is only after we relinquish our sovereignty that we lose our freedom. We can only get back if we start holding people accountable for their actions, and being responsible for our own. Whether we can do it peacefully or not it is going to happen.
