That was a good movie. The technology probably already exists. Look at what Darpa can do.They probably developed something with advanced nanotechnology that would allow the nanochips to replicate the cells they infect. Technology has existed for years that allow nanochips to alter living cells. Nanotech combined with super computers and the right code has endless possibilities.
