Here we are, all worried about the Muslim Boogey-men potentially taking away our constitution in the future, when our own government has been violating it *for years*, and right now at unprecedented levels.

Really too bad for a board that is supposed to be populated by people who think "outside the box." If Indonesia would take all these worthless troublemakers you would say the same. I'm from America, buddy, just working here. Indonesia--in case you didn't realize--is actually the world's most populous predominantly Muslim country. Yes, there are some extremists and nutters around; there have been a whole spate of incidents in the seven months I've been here. But by and large the Muslims here are really wonderful people. Maybe it's an Indonesian thing, but I'd suspect that most of the Muslims around the world are the same and don't mean you or I any harm. And remember, there are plenty of equally extreme right-wing Christian nutters who would be perfectly happy to see the US return to its "rightful place as a Christian nation" and adopt the punishments and teachings found in the Old Testament.
