I have performed zero rituals, and just focus on meditation. Not looking to reach your level, and don't feel it is possible for me at this late stage, but would definitely appreciate a good beginner tip from advanced members of this forum such as yourselves. God hates anything repetitive or ritualistic in nature such as chanting and/or repetitive motion of the body and etc. He makes that perfectly clear so that's on you since you have made it your business to study so hard and effect such rituals in your quest for the power you believe will come to you from being declared Illumined by those you refer to as Masters. The world has seen enough of what straight up quoted scripture can do and it clearly falls short in this day and age wherein a whole new vocabulary needs to be established with reference to that used back in the day so that the exact intent can be transferred verbatim with the full meaning and proper emphasis intact. That is the purpose and duty of any so called teacher of the word and yet seems to be the one thing they all fall beyond short in accomplishing. Just a pity is all. If people cannot take the point they believe the scripture is intending... and rephrase it in the most commonly used terminology that they are capable of articulating then they needn't bother at all. If they don't understand it well enough themselves to say it outright in plain english then they damn sure have no business trying to enlighten another with it to any degree. no business at all as they are in effect doing far more harm than good in the process. common sense seems to be the missing link in this equation. just a damn shame. Anyone that was the least bit interested in trying to understand scripture would have had the good sense to find an accomplished professor/expert of ancient languages since they would surely realize that what "cloud" meant back at that time has little of nothing to do with what the same word means in todays terminology. Nothing at all. Herein lies all the problems in the first place, arguing over proper translations, that's all it is it seems. Hence parroting (copy/pasting) the same misunderstood verbiage is utterly useless and at best only creates more disillusionment for the recipients of same and in turn sparks further hot debates rather than allowing a light bulb to go on in anyones mind.
