Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1283334This study helps explain why earlier investigations found kids who touch the handles, are more likely than others, to get infected with bacteria like salmonella. |

Hitndahedfred User ID: 826012 United States 03/03/2011 11:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ==================================================== THIS Each time a person stands for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he or she sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. And crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. Few are willing to embrace the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change. They actually found more fecal bacteria on grocery cart handles than you would find in a bathroom. Quoting: GROSS! 1276656[link to www.usatoday.com] These bacterias are actually not harmful to human beings. They live inside your lower intestines, colons, rectum, anus. They've been known to venture out even as far as the women's clitoral hood. Some of these bacteria have also been known to end up on the tip of the purple polished knob women know as "The Unit", "The Weapon", "The Cock", etc. Again, these bacterias are not harmful to humans. Do not fear them. We all have them inside our tummies. When you flush your toilet, the microscopic particles that these bacterias ride on, spray up and all over the bathroom. Your toothbrushes, towels, toilet paper, sink, soap, mirrors, and every inch of your bathroom surface is usually crawling with these types of bacteria. They are good for you. They help ease indigestion, they digest food, they aid in bowel movement. So don't worry about it. It's all good! |
hand condition (OP) User ID: 1276656 United States 03/03/2011 11:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well yes. People put smaller people that have poo in their diapers in the seat, and they hold the handle with hands that may have poo on them. Around here I even see people with dogs in the carts. Not service dogs...little yappy dogs dressed up in little outfits. I have seen people on the People of Walmart site with livestock in the carts. Quoting: Whispering BreezeI wear gloves. I get some comments sometimes. I say I have a hand condition. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1281458 United States 03/03/2011 11:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's those damn babies pooping all over the place. The nasty little things should be banned. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1282722No it isn't. It's those filthy-ass adults who don't wash their hands after taking a dump! Percentage-wise, it's the ADULTS who will ALWAYS have their filthy unwashed hands on the cart-handles, whereas children either might not be large enough to sit in the seats, or will ride in the back in those special go-cart-style seats designed specifically for them (they don't have access to the cart-handle from the back of the cart). A good tip: always wash your hands when you return home. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1275067 United States 03/03/2011 01:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | good grief. So do people not practice basic hygiene and human decency by wiping their ass after they leave a dump? Where is all this fecal matter coming from? You wipe it clean, you flush it, you wash your hands. There should not be shit particles lying around everywhere. Ultimately, this stuff ends up in our food. One day we will literally eat shit and die from contracting some shit disease. |
