I found it very interesting about the name Amen......that we offer at the end of our prayers!

What if THEY are right......and the Hebrews were just following THEIR lead at one time(from Egypt)?

I've always felt the "amen" could mean something more than the definition being given to us!!! weird huh?

If it was originally Egyptian, they thought of the deity called by this name as hidden, mysterious, a deity powerful, yet one that worked behind the scenes. I could see, and this is conjecture now. How the Hebrews invading Egyptian culture could have taken this word and applied their own meaning to it, as their TRUTH, especially about God, was HIDDEN from the Egyptians. Then the Egyptians could have also have thought of the Hebrew God as Hidden, He being Invisible and so very different from their frogs and cats and rivers and gators and Pharaohs and all else called gods in Egypt. The source of this word I believe to be Hebrew (or pre-Hebrew; pre-Egyptian) maybe even part of Adam's original language? Anyway, too early in its origin to be dogmatic.

Actually, I think "and so it is" or "and it is so" is easily representative of CREATION. So why wouldn't they use the name of the CREATOR from Egypt, as the creative phrase "and so it is"?

I think the problem is that so often there is this eagerness to discard parallels in the English language to older languages as unimportant, is just not logical.

The English language arose AFTER these older languages. So why would it not be at least somewhat based on it? And English was created by monks and forced onto the populace.

So, "son" and "sun" sounding alike... supposedly anyone who says this is a bit more than coincidental is dismissed. But if you created a language, and wanted to hide some secrets in it right out in plain sight... why wouldn't make a phrase that means "and so it is" or "and it is so" be the same as the name of a CREATOR GOD?

Then have prayers ended with WORD that means an entire phrase (and is the name of a GOD), instead of ending the prayer with the PHRASE itself?

If we're to end our prayers with "and it is so" then why don't we??

Instead, we close it with a single WORD that sounds like the name of a GOD.

It's just amazingly coincidental that the "proper" phrase for closing a prayer just happens to be a single word that is a God's name.

Sorry, but you would think that when monks were creating the english language, they'd deliberately NOT use the name of ANOTHER GOD as the closing to their prayers.

You'd think that people would give up closing their prayers with an ancient God's name and use the phrase it SUPPOSEDLY means... but that didn't happen.

Yes, I think you are right.......the vid you presented said it came from "Amen Ra"(one of the Egyptian Gods)! I found that interesting because of One in Seattle(J.Z. Knight), who channels a blue entity called "Ra"!

Now my Teachers tell me that 'Ra' is an actual being from their realms.........although, the J.Z. receiving's have been corrupted! When Ra first came to her, there was true contact........but then because J.Z. got into the money end of it, 'Ra' had to withdraw......and she was left to other energies!
