Brad Meltzer's Decoded on History Channel
Anyone happen to catch Decoded on the History Channel (guess it was a repeat tonight)? It was on the "Georgia Guidestone's" that was supposedly built back in 1979, by a member of a Rosecrucian(sp) sect. I only caught the last part of the show and there was Meltzer debunking why the Guidestone's were built. That the stones have nothing to do with 2012, and had to do more with the fact that in 1979 both the U.S and Russia had their nukes pointed at one another. Just thought that it was interesting that this episode was dated 02/03/2011. Just in time for SHTF.

I apologize in advance if this was already talked about.

Haven't seen that one. Recorded off the one about the Statue of Liberty. The did alright. If i knew nothing about the Statue then i'm sure it would have sounded fantastic.

If they mentioned the rosicrucians then that's good. And just presenting the Guidestones at all is what's needed. I tried to tell family and just got blank srares.

They felt that the poeple behind this were the Rosichurstens (sp?). I was probably one man acting on his own. They did some experiments that the RC's are working on. One of the people who supposedly was RC Christian had a Dakota accent. Ted Turner was also named as s suspect. I'm not really liking the show in general.

Oh, and some scientist found solar flares that could trigger a mass die-off that the stones will help restore soociety.

Blank stares, i got blank stares!

And i'm just not sure about the rosicrucian thing. The Guidestones list R.C. Christian.

While it is true Freemasons took part in founding Washington DC and were instrumental in the Civil War and other wars, their sister society really doesn't make any claim to being Christian.

I'm more inclined to go with Roman Catholic Christian. Catholics had a bad time in this country all the way up until after the Civil War, 1860. There's been a demographics issue with Catholic immigrants. It's no stretch that one of their groups erected te Guidestones.
