it was not some kind of sexual deal, it was more like a passing of energy that overloaded or something but in a good way. Like almost for a second or two i felt a sort of enlightenment, it didn't last... but that is what i would say enlightenment MIGHT feel like.

you may just be spirtual soul mates.. in the sense that you have been in each other's lives many times before in various different relationships= mother father, friends?, child and mother? etc etc.. karmic ties that bind us to each other from lives of long ago..

Don't get me wrong, I am a skeptic but an open skeptic, I like traditional spiritual explanations, but also scientific, psychological explanations, because they are only that, explanations. And to see the whole thing, all kinds of views are beneficial. I believe in your experience, since I think I had similar ones (not the same).
It's definitely an extraordinary experience. Talking about interesting stuff on a deep spiritual level takes you deeper into your brain's "special" circuits. Also if you and your conversational partner are tuning in to each other. Synchronising. Now if in that state, something weird happens, like a bulb going off - boom - you get basically the synchronicity circuit / novelty circuit / enlightment circuit .. whatever you wanna call it - kicking in and - if you allow it to, because you're open to the experience and in a situation of trust and mystery, in a chain reaction you get propelled a hundred times deeper into that state, because now there is also an external influence/stimulus and it all comes together. It's like summoning a key for a lock. Summoning strange phenomena by talking about them, tuning in to that kind of experiencing. Now if two people get that at the same time it's a wonderful thing, especially when you don't need any LSD for it. ;)

There are several key works which tells me what is going on. Metaphysical, past lives, spiritual chat, white light, electric zap, trippy. etc.

Whether you may want to believe it or not, there are forces that HATE good relationships. They cannot come between a good relationship, so they create false ones. Believe me, I have seen it many times. These "forces" will create a situation that only YOU TWO can see and understand. It will draw you closer and closer until nothing else matters but the "experience" because , good or bad, we all need confirmation in our lives that there is something "more" than all that we see.

I saw a perfectly beautiful marriage with two wonderful children go completely to hell because two people thought that they could handle this special healing relationship they had with each other--to the exclusion of their own relationships. It started small and inexplicably. Small connections grew into a lust for power. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. At first it will just be small demands upon your partner "for the truth's sake" and "for the good of all"; but in the end, it will be an all consuming need to "see the end of it".

The "end of it" is destruction--for everybody involved, even the group of friends who hang out. Everybody will get scattered to the four winds. You are playing with "strange fire". You've had a touch of "the other side". They know how to manipulate the best of them. Mantras aren't going to help you with this. They WANT you to have power. It sounds like you, also, WANT IT. Are you willing to give up everything for it? You may very well have to.

I had something like that happen to me also once. I had a Zen story in my head for about 3 days,I was finding deeper and deeper layers in it. I was sitting outside on my back step and gazing at some overgrown grass as I thought about the story, I had no concepet of time. And then the top of a blade of grass began to flare with a very white bright light just as a realisation came me, but it was so fleeting that I couldn't hold on to what is was.

It's never left me though
