I don't do meth!!! I have allergies... I hadn't bought Sudafed in ALMOST A MONTH!!! Their computer was clearly mistaken, which takes me b/k to my ORIGINAL QUESTION... if I can get someone here who will listen and not think I am on meth or making it!

Should I call Walgreens and raise hell or call the cops???
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1285237

Almost a month means what 29 days 32 days?

Actually the simplest solution is to get a chain of stores, longs, Walgreens, grocers, blah that you run the circuit of purchasing your Sudafed and other cold medicines from.

Which if you have bought other cold medicines on 'The List' then you most likely have gone over your 'allotted' pseudoephedrine purchase amount. Many OTC drugs still contain pseudoephedrine and 'count against' your purchase allotment.

On March 2nd I tried to purchase a box of Sudafed and was well within the legal limit (9 grams/month). The Walgreens receipt I received game me a website and a transaction # to view my potential purchase. I didn't do anything wrong...I don't want this B.S. on my record. Should I contact the authorities or call Walgreens back and raise hell?

On March 2nd you were suspect of purchasing more than 9 grams per month? Calendar month? Damn, yo. Do you actually take it for allergies/congestion? Because there's 240mg in a 24 hour pill, so really in a typical month you'd only need 7200mg or 7.2g. I take it everyday too because I am allergic to almost everything outside, and I've never been suspect of purchasing more than the legal limit. The stores keep a log of what you buy, if you dispute their claims, have the pharmacy manager check the records. There you go.

Or, stop manufacturing meth!

Take 5,000 IU plus magnesium and allergies will go away gradually.

My problem is not getting Sudafed, but the old compound of Sudafed & Tylenol combined. For massive allergy headaches for me taking the two drugs separately isn't even half as effective as taking the compounded drug, and I have found that since Sudafed went behind the counter it is almost mpossible to find the compounded formula at all, let alone the cheap clones of the compounded formula which used to be readily available.

Re: Sudafed purchase DENIED!
I know How you feel. I have not bought Sudafed since 2006. Today I walked into walmart and asked them for the smallest cheapest pack that they had because my allergies are going nuts and I am so congested its unreal. The guy told me not only was I over my limit for the month, but have been over my limit every month for the last 2yrs. That I am on a watch list. I wanted to snap on the guy but knew it wasnt his fault. I asked the pharmacy tech what I could do and he told me I could go to the police and file a report. They are currently "flagging my license and my ID" So the next time someone uses it the Pharmacy. drug store, or whatever calls the police and the person gets arrested. According to the police the person using my ID has been doing this for the last 5yrs without me even knowing. I dont even need Sudafed so I never buy it. But I felt very Low and embarrassed at the store today. The cop told me that this will be a long process and the Feds will be involved and I will most likely be asked to take drug tests in the form of blood, hair, and urine samples. Which I will gladly do at anytime. I do not use any form of drug unless it is prescribed. I am not sure if you need that much Sudafed a month or not with your allergies, but I do know how it feels for them to deny you on a bogus charge.. Now I feel like I am going to be watched, charged, and maybe even branded for something I never even did. I would suggest going to your police station and telling them your id is being used. They can use your ID# and pull up all purchases of sudafed, where they were purchased, how much, and the signature. They can even watch the tape where it was purchased.. Good Lcuk. I would like to know the site walgreens gave you tho.. can you please look me up on facebook and give it to me.. www.facebook.com/jessedawn. thank you.hf

OP,

Instead of relying upon drugs, the government has demonized and controlled why not look into natural methods to control allergies and nasal congestion it would free you of government control.

As far as the current allegations go, you should fight them and clear your name then proceed to eliminate them from your life. Since most nasal congestion is due to inflammation, try Curcumin or Turmeric.

It is probably a computer error or someone typed in incorrect data on purchases that were attributed to you. Ask them to look into it for you. I wouldn't call the cops for this. Just sayin....

If you can't resolve it, find out the dates on the 30 day limit period (if not a calendar month) , get somebody else to buy it for you and wait until this record keeping period is up.

I would send an email to Walgreens corporate HQ and suggest the take action to keep this from happening again. You are likely not the only one who's records get messed up. Maybe they will send you a coupon for freebies or something to apologize.

Almost a month means what 29 days 32 days?

Actually the simplest solution is to get a chain of stores, longs, Walgreens, grocers, blah that you run the circuit of purchasing your Sudafed and other cold medicines from.

Spreading your purchases to different stores will not work, as your purchases are documented and fed into a database so either you conform and obtain doctors prescription or limit your purchases or think outside the box and seek alternative solutions.

You might have to consider what you can grow yourself in your backyard or fields nearby before the UN’s Codex Alimentarius kicks in and bans the growing of medicinal herbs as they hive already done in the EU.
