I had a purchase decliend today myself at Walmart and it was the first time I've bought sudafed or anything containing it in at least 6 months. I was embarrassed and the pharmacy clerk insisted that "someone" had gone over the limit with my ID. I haven't bought the "limit" in sudafed if you add up everything I've bought in the past year!!

Anyway, she ran my ID a second time and it went through. I think there are still some kinks being worked out in the system as the newest version of the federal monitoring system is still fairly new.

I don't know what triggered mine to decline and the clerk wasn't even able to check for me to see when purchases with my ID might have been made and she didn't direct me to any kind of website to check or anything.

I did feel like I'd been treated like a lying meth-head -- like some folks are treating you on this board -- but ultimately the purchase went through. Perhaps try again and see what happens and if there is still a problem just NICELY ask the manager to direct you to where you can best get more information as you are concerned that perhaps purchases are showing as yours that aren't. If you raise hell with anyone, you're likely
to look more like someone with suspicious motives.

I also believe that if you get your doctor to write an Rx that is just tracked in the Rx system and you should be fine.

The guidelines allow more than enough in a month for you and perhaps minor children you may need to purchase for you in your family but the system is clearly not perfect.
