My dad has blue eyes and my mom has hazel eyes - I am the only girl out of 5, and only blonde

10. My mother is left handed, my father is right handed. My mother has green eyes as did her father who was also left handed, and my ancestors who were left handed had green eyes too, apparently.

Ok so I just smoked some weed (it's the holidays) and decided to googling the statistics of my physical attributes. I've always figured they were pretty rare but I never actually sought out the actual statistics. I'm going to be entirely honest with everything I write due to the anonymity and in any chance someone else can relate.

I have red hair, green eyes, I'm female, and left handed. I've always joked to people about how I would've probably been considered a witch due to my red hair and left handedness, but I never thought to google it.

2.Are you a vivid dreamer or do you just conk out during the night?
It depends...lately I've been back on anxiety meds so they've been insanely vivid. So naturally, no.
3. What are your talents? Music, writer,artist? Athletic? I've always considered myself to be a jack of all trades but a master of none. I was fortunate enough to have parents that paid for figure skating, piano, soccer, skiing then snowboarding, art...during my childhood. I continued most of these artistic and athletic endeavors into high school where I competed in many disciplines at very high levels--figure skating (at least 1.5 hours every day), track and field, soccer, dance, and cheerleading. I was naturally talented at nearly every sport I tried, but I was lazy and never put enough effort in to really be the best at anything I did. I also consider myself a very creative person.
4. Temperament? Good, okay, bad, or hell on wheels? Well, it shifts a lot. I can be a mixture of many things (but rarely outside the house). As I said, I take anxiety meds, so I've been all over the board. Never quite hell on wheels though. I'm also very polite and courteous (also Canadian).
5. Are you a follower or a leader? a bit of both. If I don't feel intimidated by anyone in the group I'm definitely a leader. It all comes down to confidence.
6. Do feel like you fit in this world? Or do you fill a little out of step.

7. Lot's of friends? or few? Tons of acquaintances and a few dear dear friends. I feel like I had way more friends during my University years and it's somewhat tapered.

9. Do you have faith? Have you had spiritual experiences? Raised Anglican, attended Catholic school, began to question everything and become "Agnostic" halfway through Uni. I believe intelligent design may be possible, but I don't think it has been proven and I don't agree with any organized religion.
10. Is your mother or father left handed? Green eyed? to be honest I can't recall the colour of my dad's eyes. He had reddish hair all his life though. Neither parent is left handed. I also have 2 brothers, both of whom have reddish hair that was more pronounced when they were very young.

My son has all the Hazel/green eyes, left handed and RH neg, but he is male my daughter has hazel/green eyes , left handed but A positive , they have different fathers

If Adam was created with 2 sets of genes (we all have 2) and these work as instructions for the range of characteristics, then mixing them up as happens in reproduction gives us our variation within limits, dark hair to light but not green hair. Hair colour is the expression of red pigmentation and black, a lot of people have red pigmentation but you can't see it as it is overwhelmed by the black.

So if Adam had A and B coding for his blood he would be AB but his children can be A, B or AB. O which is a lack of either antigen on the red blood cell could either be an option depending on how it is encoded or a mutation has caused a lack of the A or B antigens on the surface of the red blood cells. (note you still have the a and b antigens in your plasma rather than on the red blood cell). D is either on the red blood cell or isn't there at all, if its there its called Rh+ if its not you're Rh-, this is very likely a mutation which has broken part of the instructions (DNA) and if you have not inherited a working copy from either parent you will be Rh-.

Before any of you think "there is something broken about me" please understand we all have about 300 new mutations in comparison to our previous generation but this is in our 3 billion long DNA and we only need one good copy out of 2 (hence the higher risk of 2 mutations at the same place if close family interbreeding). Rh- therefore is a heritable characteristic and therefore varies greatly with people groups, Rh- is above 40% in Europe and almost non existent in Africa.

The other BIG historical event to understand is the DNA bottleneck on the ark. without getting into that too deeply, a possible explanation of Rh- is that Japheth or his wife had one Rh- gene in the 4 between them (or shortly after in that family line). If you have inherited 2 copies of this gene you will have probably inherited other family characteristics, head size etc. so what we see is associated characteristics not characteristics caused by the Rh-.

3. What are your talents? Music, writer,artist? Athletic? I have musical talents. I am a self tought pianist. Classical is my favorite form but I can play it all.
4. Temperament? Good, okay, bad, or hell on wheels? I have a very laid back temper. However I have tendencies towards high anxiety and jumpiness. I am also a diagnosed ADHD person. Twice as a child and twice as an adult.

I have had several spiritual experiences, but no longer consider myself religious. God turned me away from religion.

The myelin sheath is a nerve covering I feel no pain all nerves are damaged i get electric shocks daily in my nerves feels like Im getting electrocuted that is the only feeling I have I cant tell if something is hot or cold so I get burned I also have an issue with my blood I cant bleed I heel fast if I get a shot no blood fall down cut my self no blood doctors did blood work on me got 1/4 a vile of blood the air came out they said my blood clotting mechanism is flagged I clot to fast
wish I knew others like me that could tell me what to do or why Im like this I got punched in the face once at a club a girl thought I was someone else she had brass knuckles on and her man was talking to me she came up and punched me and cut my face open under my eye a half inch gash no blood came out it was healed and gone in 2 days no scar I went to the police but didnt have proof of the wound thank God a waitress witnessed it and made a statement for me

my daughter is a lefty,green eyes with light brown hair and bronze highlights(was totally red headed at birth).

RH- also,very smart and a leader...also a taurus like her mother,father is mixed with Spanish(old spain) and native Mexican.

my side is cherokee and Irish with some french mixed in,both myself and her father are not rh- but have the dormant gene.

My daughters son has white,white hair green eyes and also rh-,his father is mixed with Italian and spanish with his mothers side swedish and german.

Wow this is a neat thread & you have a lot of responses which is interesting. I don't have time to read the whole thing just now or to look up what RH neg means, but I'm a green-eyed chick with red hair (and the ridiculous amount of freckles that comes with) and I'm actually ambidextrous, though I favor my left hand. I knew the whole thing about "redheads going extinct" but never really thought about the rest of it. As for myself I'm of Scottish descent and am a Christian, proffesional artist, and working on a biology degree.
