Got to love how people brag, wow 600k, most of us will never have the luxury of seeing that much.

That's fine but saying this or that, tell us the stock, you say you have made it back what is the symbol?

Do you really believe that a stock just goes up?

Just because somebody has made a lot of money on a stock doesn't mean that you'd do so too on the same stock.

The only stock with a constantly great chart i can think of is Apple (AAPL), however at it's current price per share it only makes sense to invest if you're already millionaire. That way even 5-15% increase is amazing.

If you trade with a lot less money and want to see quick and huge increases then penny stocks are the way to go (or option trading) but with that comes the great risk, especially if you don't know what you're doing.

This. People need to learn how to handle their money. It is easy to get started in the stock market. Save up around $500 and there you go.

Is it easy to make money via stocks? Maybe, depends on your level of knowledge on what your investing in. 80% of trading is emotion. Just remember that your not going to make 100k in a year only starting out with $500.

In penny stocks you can. But you also need some good portion of luck as well.

Some of them go 1000%-10,000%+ in one day! But one must have luck to be there before it runs.

The other way is compounding. Turn the 500 into 1000, then 1000 into 2000, the 2000 into 4000 and so on...

Oh, good grief! It's just your normal run-of-the-mill Vangurd 401K plan. My husband has maxed it out since he started it in the 80s when he began working for this company after college. The company also pays stock to employees (which is the majority of the funds). The company, without going into any details for privacy sake, is a very (very) large private agribusiness company. They've been good to him. You know, it's not that unusual for people to build up seven figure retirement accounts!

Buy gold and silver instead.

Market usually stays strong to at least the end of April. I have some stock i want to sell first week of April, May or first week of June at the latest.

If...you want to study the market successfully watch th elargest movers of the day...
