This reminds me of Dr. Semmelweis. In the 19th century he noticed mothers who delivered in the carriage on the way to the hospital had a greater survival rate than mothers who delivered in the hospital. (Back then doctors routinely went from the morgue to the delivery room to deliver the babies w/o washing their hands) He suspected the doctors carried some agent on their hands. He ordered the workers at his hospital to wash their hands prior to delivering babies and the mother death rate plummeted.

When the medical establishment found this out, they had him removed from his position running the hospital and eventually had him commited into aa insane asylum because he believed in that which couldn't be seen. He was committed for believing in "spooks."

Decades later, Louis Pasteur photographed bacteria and presented the findings at a major medical convention. He told the audience, "Here are Doctor Semmelweis's spooks."

I had participated in a great thread with wonderful followers of our Lord back in 2002. There was a brilliant guy who was ex-Christian that I witnessed to. He became very angry at me. After I witnessed the Lord told me to leave that thread. In my stubborness to show that brilliant guy the error of his ways I continued on. The Lord then put me through the fire for purification. Literally...I lost almost everything in a fire including my computer. It was the best thing that ever happened to me (though not at the time). It is important to keep the focus on Jesus. He is the spirit of prophecy.
