Insects are a great food resource--nutritious and plentiful. For those too squeamish to eat a bug, I'll bet starvation will quickly change your minds.

Actually, smoked and salted crickets are pretty good. They are just like nuts. Dried scorpions are the same. As a self replicating protein source, you can't beat crickets or mealworms. Way easier to take care of then larger animals and they just keep reproducing. You can control their diet as well to make sure that they are safe for human consumption.

Well I am now living in the Tn mountains, got a nice sized creek not more than 100 feet from the front door. Bugs should be plentyful if I start searching I bet. Guess I need to start stocking up on ghee(type of butter with very long shelf life and no need to refridgerate) and powdered garlic lol
