How do you block out telepathic thoughts?

If you mean you want to block others from reading your mind, all you do is say out loud and to yourself that you do not give permission to anyone to hear them. You can't be hypnotized unless you give it credibility. Same with psychics, why they ask you to give a bit of information about you, it's to gain consent from you.

If you really give a flying fuck then make sure it is who you are, that you will not give consent later, not that you can't but it should be a core principle of yours, like knowing 1 + 1 is two, you always never give consent until you do. If it's not a principle of you then you are still an open book. Just mean it, that's all. That's it.

A tinfoil hat would be less effort.

Same principle for blocking negative effects. Just tell yourself to recognize them and deflect them. Even before they reach your conscious mind they will reach the awareness of your subconscious and spiritual God-conscious mind. Don't even accept them to give them the time of day to spend energy on them, fighting them or accepting them and letting them affect you.

I don't mind the reading. The problem is people treating me like a walking dictaphone.

Could be depending on who you are. I'm pretty active and fit and intelligent myself, what i suggested would be easier for me. I don't see how doing more work is easier than not doing more work, but i suppose that's just you.

Faraday cages, especially ungrounded, thin ones, don't work. Annnd, tin foil hats can actually focus the signal onto the brain as they don't cover the entirety of the body!

Fine, cover your whole body in tinfoil. Just leave a hole at the base of your spine so you don't suffocate.

OP, if you have weak boundaries on one level, you will have them on another

if your boundaries are weak in your dealings with people, you will have weak boundaries (easy to penetrate) on the psychic level as well

stop letting people walk on you in your day-to-day life.. you have a right to set your own boundaries..

ever wonder why those Type A, hyper-focused, clear-cut and strong-willed people rarely ask questions on this subject? there's a reason for that.

they deflect telepathic garbage w/o even knowing they are doing it.

1. practice non-thinking awareness

2. recognize and memorize the 'feeling' of thought intrusion

3. create a mental alarm to alert when the 'feeling' happens

4. examine the incoming thought, say "not my thought", and move on

5. after awhile your mind will do it automatically

it is rather simple
your own impulses are those super fast ones (under few miliseconds...all other is a brain deduction/comparing)

while comparing brains assign and divide for better concept work

i do this visually

as if my brain is trained to render visual representation of the subject, with many aspects in it, such as movement, shape and color.. deformation of it and so on..

it really helps and is so quick for use
