I have read all the posts on this here. Seems to me that there is a lot of narrow-mindedness on both sides of the issue. As for Mr. Tsoukalos, he believes passionately what he pushes, and I have to say that there are loads of real mysteries from the past that can't be accounted for by conventional archaeologists theories. Science can't explain it all. But neither can religion. Both are seeking the truth, but they both use different methods. Let each do what it does best. Don't ask "Why" questions of Science - it can't answer them. And don't ask "What" questions of Religion.

If you examine the bible objectively, you will easily see that the facts it represents are impossible.

Ask yourself. Do you really want the universe to be run by the psycopath of the old testament?

Ask yourself. Why do you believe the bible and discount all other 'magic' books and gods. What about Zeus? What about Odin? What about Allah?

You see, you have been brainwashed to believe in one paradigm, and you seek this because you live in fear of the immenseness of the universe. Try reading a book other than the bible and you will see how different our reality really is, other than what that book says it is. Always keep in mind the sources. The men who wrote the bible had no clue as to the nature of reality and wiped their asses with their hands. We were not created from dirt; the world is not flat; the universe was not created in 7 days ( Look at the night sky to realize this. Light travels at certain speeds, and we see that light long after it has left its source. Again, you'd have to read a real book to understand this.)

Close the bible, give your head a shake, and enter the 21st century. And most importantly, DO NOT teach this garbage to your children. You'll only contribute to future wars, ignorance and misery.

One of the most important things that we have to understand is that the original bible has been altered. The Nicean
Council took many writings out of the bible for the religion of Christianity which Constantine took over from it organic origin. There are 15,000 mistranslations in the western bibles-the King James being the worst. The Hebrew and the Aramaic are the languages that the original bible was written in.
We believe what we do because we were taught to by our parents, teachers and pastors. They teach us what they believe to be true because they have been taught to believe that way, and back and back and back.
I started a search for the real God 10 years ago in a very serious way. The search has taken me to all the places that Giorgio has gone and I do believe that he and many others are on the right track.
That does not mean that Giorgio and all of the rest of us do not believe in a real God. We do but we no longer believe that our creators were divine. Ask yourself, if we were created in the image and likeness of a divine God, then why do we have so many negative traits, why are we so war like, why are we always in conflict? I do not see how a loving and benevolent God could be so cruel and ask his people to kill innocent people. These gods seem to demonstrate human traits and not godly ones to me.
There is much more to the story than we have been taught and science and archaeoiogy are proving this. We cannot judge things by mistranslations and misinterpretations. Religion wants to control us and keep us down.
All one needs to do is keep an open mind and be willing to look at what is being presented a possibility. Take a page from what Jesus said "Judge not lest you be judge".
There is a real God and there are benevolent somethings out there helping us. I have been helped many, many, many times from another dimension but I do not believe that the real God operates the way we have been taught.

Do the research before you judge. Research the first written history. Sumarian culture. Research the real cradle of civilization. Read Gilgamesh. Learn about how long ago it was written. We are so narrow minded beings. Once we believed the world was flat. Now we believe we are the only intelligent life. I say look outside your bubble. See it for what is really going on. We ate not alone!

Ok now genius, tell me why in the bible (Look at the one you have at home) does god say, "Les us make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness." Indeed the bible is not complete and some gospels were written anywhere from 200 to 400 years after Christ's crusifiction. Yes I spelled that right.

I do believe in Jesus but I cant believe the bible because it is not complete. I do see Jesus as a man with highly developed spiritual sense and I do believe he was here to teach us but somehow the greed of ordinary man changed his true teachings and enslaved with fear. I thought humans had evolved enough to understand this but there are a few poor stragglers who just don't understand. Maybe maryages follows the 10 commandments of driving because they said so.
