The flux chart seems to be almost 2hours behind the CME? It happens... Ive seen it happen like this plenty of times I feel like. Sometimes there are CMEs with no flares and sometimes there are flares with no CMEs... When the events occur around the same time it just means there are processes going on that propagates both higher XRays and mass ejections... Correct me if I'm wrong anyone. I'm still learning :) |

Dude, relax :-) We just survived a direct hit from a CME from a flare 10 times bigger than this a couple of days ago, and all we got was some aurora up north. This is a cool lightshow on the sun that doesn't require meds, lol. |
