These satellites took years from the initial planning stages to finally the launch.(Hopefully next week) But obviously there are some questions to which NASA is trying to find the answers. Hpokie (as in hokie pokie?) don't be shy you have a great though process!! thankyou, answers like yours give inspriation to the novices watching on the sidelines unsure and with no confidence to chat, thinking they will be called crazy, i relise this is a little of topic, but i was wondering what you views or anyone elses views are about the moon, and if that is the problem why the planet wobbles, i think what i mean to say is, if something is out of balance like a car wheel when the tire man bangs those weights on your wheel so it spins without a shudder, well if the moon is stuck in the earths magnetic field, its causing the earth to wobble, therfore every year everything dies, the plants die, the animals hibinate, animals and birds have to make a huge effort to change country, and seas, women bleed, maybe we hav'nt been told the truth about the moon, because the way i see it, as if it wasnt there things would be balanced and there would be no shudder,things would be back to normal. maybe we should have no waves, and the mexican loop current, and the oceans conveyor belts should do the job quite ok by themselves, then we would'nt need so many of the nasty creatures to clean the mess up every year, eg preditors flys crabs, i ask this and i know it sounds crazy, but our magnetic field might be , lets say FULL strength if it was'nt there, and there would be no gravity abnormalitys. sorry again about the spelling, just let me know if these questions are to much, and i'll just sit and watch. keep up the good work, good night all. love you all. please be gentle, these are just my thoughts, Hello there,thank you for posting a question : ) Believe it or not it is actually the Moon that keeps Earths' Wobble in check,without the Moon the Planet would not rotate as it does,it's wobble would be so wild that no Skeletal Animals(Vertebrates)would ever have been able to form and any Life that did manage to take hold would all be of the Invertebrate or Jellyfish type Creatures. At least that is the Official thinking on the matter,I hope that helps a little and please,everyone - do not be afraid to ask any questions anywhere,no-one will call you crazy for having a pondering : ) thats a good answer, i have a question, if that is true and the moon keeps the planet rotating, what if the moon has been pushed to far into the magnetic field, and thats why they blast rockets into it to push it away, like a puck on ice, only a thought, love peace to all. love the thread. |
