A little more appropriately for this thread .....

If they have actually begun their juvenille experimentation on our magnetosphere, this solar maximum will bring a new level of concern, and may explain the Federal governement's efforts to prepare for disaster (FEMA etc), and allow warnings of solar flare potentials via MSM to the public at large.

U.S. Patent 4686605:
Method And Apparatus For Altering A Region In The Earth's Atmosphere,
Ionosphere, And/Or Magnetosphere

Inventors: Eastlund; Bernard J., Spring, TX
Assignees: APTI, Inc., Los Angeles, CA
Issued: Aug. 11, 1987
Filed: Jan. 10, 1985
 Quoting: TS66

here is more info on just what it does and some history into the research behind it.....
[link to conspiration.ca]

i would think this could have some unexpected results..
 Quoting: psyoptics

WTF, just yet another grand experiment.

snip from your posted patent

This invention has a phenomenal variety of possible ramifications and potential future developments. As alluded to earlier, missile or aircraft destruction, deflection, or confusion could result, particularly when relativistic particles are employed. Also, large regions of the atmosphere could be lifted to an unexpectedly high altitude so that missiles encounter unexpected and unplanned drag forces with resultant destruction or deflection of same. Weather modification is possible by, for example, altering upper atmosphere wind patterns or altering solar absorption patterns by constructing one or more plumes of atmospheric particles which will act as a lens or focusing device.
I've said before, I'll say it again, we deserve whatever we get, again collectively as a species.

Thanks for info!!!

edit: I always say hon, to everyone and thought some might not like it.

Leif's pole strength chart has been updated to reflect the Monday's data.

[link to www.leif.org]

Dotted lines = Estimated actual pole strength

Now that the south has started to weaken it looks to be back on pace for the mid 2013 timing. The North of course has been much quicker off the draw.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 972619

That is a general indicator of when both poles are expected to have flipped. It's calculated by subtracting the South pole strength from the North pole strength and dividing that number by 2. Due to asymmetry it's not exact, but it's a general indicator of the progress of the overall pole flip.

reminder about haarp tounge

How much power will be required to operate the transmitter?

............As a result, approximately 10 million Watts of prime power will be required when the transmitter system is operating at full power.

How much power does HAARP take from the power grid?

HAARP draws only housekeeping power, used for lighting, heating, and computers, from the local power grid. During research operations, the HAARP facility is taken off the local power grid completely.

The answer to this may have already been given.. but if not, HAARP runs off of natural gas when in operation. One of the many reasons why HAARP is located where it is..
