I think this guy really knows his stuff, towards the end he compares an alignment in Dec. 2012 with the Carrington event. I feel these are important variables to keep in mind that add to the big picture. Last Edited by Isis One on 09/01/2012 07:57 PM Spread the word, change the collective conscious...... I belive there is some question as to exactly when we can expect impact and/or how much will hit us. From what I have read here and elsewhere, we can expect it to arrive sometime between the next couple of hours and tomorrow night. From what Nin explained earlier, the first part to hit may not be the most dense, as well as there is a question as to how much of the plasma may actually hit us. Guessing game on both parts for now. EW User ID: 22577684 Australia 09/01/2012 09:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is probably old news to you guys, and was probably posed last year when it came out, but I have only just found it and I was wondering what you thought of this.. And how could nasa give a date?.. what do they know that we dont? Scientists now believe, the solar flare could change everything for our civilization as we know it today.Predictions are being made to the effect that a major solar storm is set to strike America and some parts of the world on September 21 2012. NASA has warned that a virulent Solar storm is likely to hit America by September 2012 and the resultant damage could be so catastrophic that America and some of the well known Super power nations could instantly become developing countries. Information relayed down to earth from the Voyager 1 and 2 has now convinced NASA officials and Scientists that a solar storm leading to the Carrington effect is inevitable and could strike our world in on 21st September 2012 because as of now, the entire solar system is moving into the Inter-stellar energy clouds which are so turbulent that they have started exciting/charging the sun and the atmosphere of our planet. As this charging goes on, the sun will become more active with greater energy output into our atmosphere leading to more serious Solar storms resulting into the Carrington effect. Anonymous Coward User ID: 23004772 United Kingdom 09/01/2012 09:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hi all, Was just reading the Thread about the Sun being brighter and I totally agree. Gone are the days when you could look at the Sun directly and then on looking away, you have circle blotches in your eyes. Now you can't look at it at all and if you can, you can't make out the Circle shape of the Sun like we used to.... Know what this reminds me off.... A light bulb with a Filament and Dimmer switches to control the brightness. A dimmer switch Blocks the amount of voltage going to the light bulb, effectively lowering the amount of electric/fuel the light bulb receives.... Turn the dimmer switch low and you have a low light so in a way, your not sending much volts to the light bulb. Turn the dimmer switch up and it gets brighter because your allowing more volts to the light bulb.... So, controlling the amount of fuel the light bulb receives controls the amount of light that is emitted.... STUPID QUESTION TIME: With the Sun seemingly being brighter, if this is the case, has the Power/fuel of the Sun increased, like someone turning the voltage up??? Is there something else feeding the Sun more Fuel/Energy besides the usual source?? Please don't slate me haha.. |
