So if you can't read it on a NASA website or you cant hear it on CNN , then it's not true...... Is that correct??? For those few posters this is meant for, I will reframe from posting goat talk and let them recite what NASA publishes for sheep to read.

You're not messing up Nin's thread, and if she were here she'd tell you the same I'm sure.

I love your contributions, that's what learning is all about taking the time to consider, research, and come to an educated decision!!!

PS, NASA just discovered they were totally wrong about the physics of mag fields on the sun and their theory of convection !!!

Just for confirmation.

The world isn't flat.

And we are not the center of the universe, all knowing and seeing.

We love you here hf

Oh don't get me wrong Gabe, I am very interested. That's why I was asking for links. I want to read about it. I'm trying to figure out where this information came from. Re-read my post above. If you took it as criticism, then try reading it with a different state of mind. If you notice I did not ask for "NASA" links and as far as CNN goes, I wouldn't believe a word that they broadcast! I asked for links..plain and simple. I'm just trying to figure out where you got your information so I can read it too.

Your not going to find a direct link to exactly what the goats have to say. There are links to sites that hint around the edges but you you will not find this headline: NASA receives data from probe sent into local black hole and can now tell us what the future of our planet and sun is .......

"WISE has exposed a menagerie of hidden objects," said Hashima Hasan, WISE program scientist at NASA Headquarters in Washington. "We've found an asteroid dancing ahead of Earth in its orbit, the coldest star-like orbs known and now, supermassive black holes and galaxies hiding behind cloaks of dust."

The latest findings are helping astronomers better understand how galaxies and the behemoth black holes at their centers grow and evolve together. For example, the giant black hole at the center of our Milky Way galaxy, called Sagittarius A*, has 4 million times the mass of our sun and has gone through periodic feeding frenzies where material falls towards the black hole, heats up and irradiates its surroundings.

And it seems every other day, I am reading a new article about new discoveries that discount this or that law of physics. I love science, but what is considered a scientic fact today, may be proven wrong (and often is) tomorrow ...etc. There is so much more around us and out there that our physical senses can't detect. I am personally open to new, and old, beliefs. Ok, back to the sun. :-)

People that looked at your link this morning weren't able to see the CME as that link updates constantly, so as the CME moves out of view the pictures no longer show it.

I was here last night in time to see it though so no worries. Was a farside CME, fairly weak, here's the model for this buddy

I thought you meant the bright ball to the right, which is probably a planet.

Other than that I don't see a CME.

I hope this link works, but these are nice shots of CMEs on Lasco C2. Lasco C2 typically has a better resolution to view CME activity. More so than the one you are all using.

Greets to you all.

Still trying to catch up so I hope that this wasn't already posted.

Finally, a GRB

Hi Mister! I was going to post it but then i was confused. I've been watching for a GRB for several weeks, since the supposed last one three weeks ago. But now, on the site in the data box, it says there was one on 8-30 and several other dates before that meaning its only just a week since we had one. Even 2 Min news guy announced it yesterday and said "first one in three weeks". Anyone know how often that chart is updated?

I'm in for betting on Nin's corner. We've just seen it happen too much to just be a coincidence.
