I think we're almost ready for that Flare Dance, MTN Mang. On second thought maybe save it for Prime Time tomorrow night, LOL.

Strange event in the SW as 1585 earlier seemed to be sucking up pieces of loose filament. Mauna Loa H-alpha movie:

Solar Wind from coronal hole topped over 600 km/s at the SOHO detectors:

The new active region in the SE looks surprisingly small for all those recent flares. Since it's not listed as a returning region, it may be still developing.
:1590HMI:

As noted above there are several more regions turning our way soon, but Heliograph seems to show that 1589 is the brightest in the Extreme UltraViolet wavelengths:

Yes,I saw 1585 whipping and throwing bits'a'Filament earlier on Learmonth H alpha also.

There looks to have been a definite CME thrown from the same region thats' seen toward the end of this [link to sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov] just before its' shaken all over by some cosmic giant : )

However,I can't find any trace of a CME anywhere - have you seen anything Hugh?

It definitely looks like it throw something off to me,maybe I'm seeing things.

I think it fell back into the sun near 1585 as coronal rain. I've never seen it so visible in the Hydrogen alpha wavelength. I haven't noticed any CMEs today.

I find it interesting that the filament dominance has lessened as our SS group comes to prominence, maybe only so much energy to go around!

Note: just saw that energy reversal shot from the post above, thats crazy

What a different type of CH energy trail we received from this last one. The previous two before gave us immediate proton and electron balance. This last Ch gave us electron dominance and very lttle proton absorption, crazy mag flux. I know this was a co rotational event, but what weird data, instead of what I thought would be heightened protons we got nothin, and the electron dance didn't interfere with this. I'm thinking big polarity differential with these CHs. Bz was south for a long time then hovered just above north on the final wave. What kind of polarity assimilation was coming out of that hole?

Hi all!!! Just got caught up, great job to all the inspired posters today I really appreciated your effort. Love the sense of community here and as I don't venture out into the 3D world much anymore its makes this place that much more important to me. I still get to socialize, but without the density of 3D, so thanks for that gang, Love ya, Isis One

hey jeff. same here, hope the sun keeps up with the fireworks. tomorrow is my 'official' one-year with GLP.

what a great year, I've never felt so suspicious and paranoid in my life, lmao!
 Quoting: mtn_mang

It happens, spent three years here as an AC, before I reallized I needed to get more involved. After my first year here I was sure Elenin was going to kill the majority of us and almost sold all my belongings. It takes alot to get me really freaked out now and honestly if I thought an ELE was on the way, I'm ready mind and SOUL! Don't hold me to that last comment . LOL
 Quoting: shadasonic

I have spent so much time worrying about one supposed ELE after another especially after coming to GLP. I had to stop going to so many other threads. There are only a few that I go to on GLP now with any regularity...this one being my 'home' though. I think I have managed to step back a little bit though and stop worrying that huge tragedies are around every corner. I haven't managed to step away from all of it yet though.

Good night everyone. Peace!!
 Quoting: shenue

I don't think we should completely step away if we're in the thought of caring and preparing. Shenue you are a doll, always respectful and considerate while trying to discern and accumulate info. If there is such a thing as true ascending I'd say you are well on your way. You have a genuine soul! That means more to me than anything else, and am glad to have you as a friend! No fear rings true to me,this is just a step in our development. Peace and love to all you crazy masters of vibrational harmony!
 Quoting: shadasonic

Shada, thank you for your kind words. hf And I completely agree that we shouldn't completely step away. I had gotten to the point that it was very much affecting my everyday life. I became a very fearful person. I am better now but try to stay informed and alert.
