Something's been cooking for the last hour or more. [link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] On the Stereo EUV Heliograph we can see another hot spot near the SE limb (at about 115 degrees east) which will be visible Earth-side in 2-3 days. Also notice how the northern regions are very close to the equator (15 degrees or less) and the southern regions are closer to the 30 degree hash-mark. The one exception is the AR that exploded today (I'm fairly certain). As we see more southern spots form close to the equator, we'll see a crescendo of solar activity. Hopefully.
