So,I just got back in,I am about to go through the other comments but first just had to say something about that ^ ^ Ffs.

A disgusting display,really,really disgusting - Why does this happen in the US!?

Is it simply a rues that is encouraged by the Stock Market to make Americans and America appear to their debtor Nations(China)like willing lambs to the slaughter to the point that such Nations are pacified enough by the potential earnings that they continue for another Year to loan the US more Money to buy more of their products whilst such Nations simply sit and wait out for the point when all others have 'had enough' before pulling the plug/lifeline/umbilical noose they have allowed America to wrap around its' own neck whilst their downfall is plotted in backrooms and Chinese Democracy can be totally and completely implemented!?

1618 sure looks energetic enough, maybe it is waiting for that 60 degree line. A big event on the coat tails of what we've got coming in and who knows.

I think the jagged pattern is due to the Arcing from the region cresting the North-East with a bit of 1618 thrown in for good measure - The Arcing [link to sdodata.oma.be] she's looking ready : )

We've got a triple play currently exhibiting on the cygnet enlil model [link to iswa.gsfc.nasa.gov:8080]

One of the three CMEs is earth directed. I have completely lost count of how many CMEs have been flung at earth in the last 10 days!

Edit: And of course, we're all looking for the beginning of the weekend incoming tangled up mass of CMEs expected to begin any hour now.

Hi everyone here is a clip of the northern lights; I thought you guys would like to see it.

I still can't get over the crazy character of the CME that instead of *blasting* out like other CME's squirts out at a very rapid velocity(not measured in this diagnostic) [link to www.sidc.oma.be] <--- North-East,not that I need to tell you that as I described the squirting CME already.

Pretty incredible,to me at least...I wonder what caused it to eject in such a manner!?

I get very annoyed with Keith quite often,he is very,very boneheaded when it comes to any finding not found by him or his friends or discovered after 1986 - Such as the recent blow dealt by the 100 factor less in Solar Convection rates that leaves the older theoretical Solar Dynamics at a bit of a odd end,not that Dr.Keith agrees at all and has actually dismissed this finding out of hand because 'I know the folks who made the first measurements' as he told me : )

I do like the Dr. but when we talk it always feels like a pissing contest on his behalf rather than a forward moving discussion,but hey,nevermind.

SC, I don't claim to understand the mechanics of plasma discharge events but this looks like it could qualify, meaning I look to electric model vs. thermonuclear to understand something like this. (This is my amateur analysis).

PS, loved yours and TS's analysis from earlier today. Awesome work guys.

Nice little graph shows the arrival too. Bz is south too so we should see penetration of the magnetopshere correct?

Region inside the green lines is the auroral area. I will be watching to see if it gets closer to me in NE PA. although that cold front just rolled in so its cloudy :( !! and it was so clear past two nights.

Ohh, I love this already, plasma toroidal tubes!!!!!! Just calling the thing plasma is cool, plus I've seen this z pinch thingy several times last few days. And, it seems a thermonuclear event can cause a plasm discharge event or the one propagates the other, they are an integrated event instead I was thinking of them separately. Going back in now, LOL
