what I mean is on march 21 we will be in between the center of the galaxy and the sun...

unlike december 21 when the sun was in the middle....

Why do the sun spots always start to decay as they are approaching earth’s direction?

there is the million dollar question????

but the trillion dollar questions is:
WHY DO THEY BECOME ACTIVE AS SOON AS THEY ARE NO LONGER EARTH FACING?

i'm just a lurker,

i have a question,

could the Sun, be the exit abd entry of a worm hole connecting one Sun to another Sun etc, and also energys passing through it to regulate our solar system by intellegent beings from afar place, in our galaxy or even further a field,

and when these holes open up, ufos or energys are being sent to evolve us our conciousnessm and solar system, thats why they are carefull not to open directly facing the Earth, unless for a certain reason, cause the flares seem to happen opposite from a cronal hole ,

so all these holes facing us now is there a lot of activity on the opposite side,



just ignore me if this sounds crazy.

Hi Hpokie, it goes along with what I suspect, and that is that the earth and sun have learned to co-exist without the sun obliterating the earth, that would definitely NOT be good. I like your wormhole idea as well. I can think of many examples in nature where seemingly inanimate objects "learn" or evolved to coexist harmoniously with one another

Yeah, that thing looks monstrous!!

I notice the Sunspot Number has risen to 196! That's near the high for Cycle 24 and it rise some more if Megaspot AR1654 keeps growing. Also the X-Ray background levels have been rising to near C1 and I expect it to be high for at least several more days. However, there's still a lack of flaring considering the multitude of strong magnetic fields.

.24 hr Summary...
Solar activity was low. The largest flare of the period was a C3/Sf
flare at 0852 UTC from Region 1640 (N28W87). Regions 1640, and 1653
(N07E49) were responsible for several low level C-class flares during
the period. There were twelve spotted regions on the disk at the end of
the reporting period and all of them appeared stable, showing no
significant signs of growth or decay. There were no Earth-directed CMEs
observed.

.Forecast...
Solar activity is expected to be low with a chance for M-class activity
(R1 radio blackouts) during the forecast period (08-10 Jan). A slight decrease is expected in M-class probabilities beginning on 08 January as Region 1640 rotates around the west limb.

Strange....Someone gave me a negative karma because they don't like that I say good morning and good night each day in here, Does it bother anyone else that I do that?

That spot rotating into view really does look like a death blob. Can't wait to get a better look at it. I wonder if it'll be another quiet spot, though...we seem to get nothing but quiet lately.

No, it was me. I could only do it when I was really drunk and angry over something I thought would never end. I can't even get that intense now as I am happy. The first time it happened was in 2010. I was at work and said I was going out to do a solar dance or sun dance and invited others to join me. Last time I remember is several months ago and I wanted an X flare with multiple crazy CMEs in rapid succession. It was late at night too. Weird.
