It looks like there are two of them exact same size;

[link to sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov]

Another one is coming into view right next to it. It's like two eyes.
 Quoting: El Quisqueyano

Sure is starting to look like it's 2 of them right next to each other, both the size of Jupiter. Ninrez what effects, if any, could we expect from 2 spots the size of Jupiter facing Earth?
 Quoting: El Quisqueyano

If it keeps a strong magnetic mix and even releases a descent M class our grid is gonna really feel it.

I imagine a direct X class from this would just strip away the already failing magnetosphere and atmosphere. Resulting in our irradiating.

Don't worry about it too much, this too will probably get pee shy like the others and decay. I for one hope for doom!

We are going to be facing down the double barrel of a shotgun here soon. These 2 sunspots are the size of Jupiter and are at the same approximate level to earth, eye to eye.

we have been talking about this today
way to soon yet to know if it is 2 sunspots, or one big one
with a large leading spot and a large trailing sunspot
we will know more by later tonight as it rotates a bit more in our direction and were able to get a better look :)

all depends on the magnetic complexity it has
still to soon to tell
but it IS looking to be quite complex from what wesee now
if it is as complex as it appears, we could see anything from X flares and/or CMEs

cant say for 100% sure just yet, because we need a bit better of a view (that we will have later today)
but as it is right now with what we Cant see...
it is not 2 sunspots
it is one
with a leading spot, and a trailing spot
and there is area filled in between the leading spot and the trailing spot

we can see here that it is one sunspot with only a small viewable seperation between the leading spot and the trailing spot

Hi Nin,

It wasn't anything new age. This guy worked on solar data andbasically claimed those in the know knew about the history of solar cycles and the mechanics of the sun. It was very descriptive and wasn't just some guy matching these theories together. It was about 2 years ago and he claimed it was regarding this cycle. I figured it would get pulled because of the nature of it. It spurred my interest quite a bit and for over a year I have been following your thread but hadn't seen anything. I want to thank you and the rest of the gang for all the input given over this last year and a half I think its been. Take care everyone.

I can see how it might be possible for a man to look down upon the earth and be an atheist, but I cannot conceive how a man could look up into the heavens and say there is no God.

watch 1652....
if it decays this massive thing just might.

i still see all SS going quiet....1640 quiet then got all worked up again.
if 1652 break this trend all bet from me are off.

we have seen huge SS rolls around this cycle and give zip...nadda...and the little things roll around the backside and BLAM! like this summer.
a good video editor can make anyone say anything the editor wants.

Hey all, computers been virused to all hell, won't be on much in the next couple days. What a horrible time for it, with that or those monsters approaching. Much love and hopefully will be back on soon
One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If weve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. Were no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. Its simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that weve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back. Carl Sagan
