Not that I am aware of, but Bz has been wide open on and off all day. Although the CH stream issue start sometime between the 12th and 13th.

I can't make much out spare perhaps a hint of a ejection from the just over the West limb [link to sdodata.oma.be] .

I'm trying to find it on Stereo Movies.

Edit:I can't see anything popping off on EUVI Behind [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] so I'm thinking it is more likely it will be from a more Earth facing portion of the disc,still looking.

May I surmise that is the Major? What beautiful blue eyes he has, very unique. He looks really sweet.

Na,that is'nt the Major,it's just a doggy smilie I fished : )

Major is similar in Color(mainly White with small amounts of tigger stripes)and has one Blue eye and one Brown which is quite rare for his cross - A Grayhound/Whippet/Bedlington

I will one Day try and fetch a Pic. of him to upload here : )

I've been hunting around and can only think that the CME on Behind is from the Bunsen Burner on Ahead that is facing toward Earth,here is the Bunsen [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] and here is Behind showing what looks like the same streamer erupting in sequence [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] .

I could be wrong,but that is what it looks like to me,for now : )

There's another large sunspot about to crest in the Southern Hemisphere. It might get really interesting if 1652, 1654, and this large one to come are all geoeffective at the same time.

IB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet levels for the next three days (11 Jan, 12 Jan, 13 Jan) with a chance for unsettled levels during days two and three.

A bit of a conundrum it is 66!

There is a 'Active Region Proximity Alert' for Earths Footpoint but I doubt it is anything to do with this.
