Hi SC, my friend! Yes, that sim is exciting, looking forward to the actual data feed, they didn't give an eta, unless I missed it. I'm surprised none of those filaments have lifted off, probably a good thing though. How are you today? Just got 6 inches of fresh snow from the Nor'easter (odd the Nemo spelled backwards is Omen). It looks really pretty out.

We have a C-flare! Woo-hoo! It appears to be a Hyder double-ribbon flare from a filament eruption between 1667 & 1670. C1.4 and rising....

[link to halpha.nso.edu]

[link to sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov]

More than likely there'll be an Earth-directed CME, too.

I think you're right. I did see the little one inside the AR to the east. And the fat-boy in the west has been slowly peeling away. But that pitchfork in the middle is awesome.

Pitchfork looked like perfect Lightning on H alpha - Pure Power.

The Fat Boy almost does look like he was just blown away with a CH stream [link to halpha.nso.edu] ith the CH being just Above,it would be the likely candidate.

Nergal told me before pole shift(both magnetic and geophysical/crustal shift) happens here on Earth, major changes need to happen to the Sun first. So, after the major changes on the Sun sometime between February 18-March 3 2013, major changes on Earth are not far off...... hidinghiding
