Our earth-sun footprint is just below and to the right of 1678 (looking at the picture above). Should be an interesting day if it starts getting active.

A bright coronal mass ejection took place from the north-west limb yesterday.
The majority of the cloud is heading north as we will see on the CME prediction model.
However a glancing blow will be possible on February 22nd.

Hi, NIN, we also had a surprisingly small amount of plasma ejected from that larger filament yesterday. STEREO had huge data gaps but I found some LASCO images, but they don't show very much for concern.
