McCanny says lots of folks hanging out at Project Wormwood in Australia to observe this solar system we are merging with, as it will come up out of the south. Says we'll start to see lots of comets and meteors/meteorites, hhhmmmmm

yes I do, the number of omega jet stream vortexes is at an all time high. The reason we're having these monumental lows versus highs on the front is because our pacific rim temps are moving substantially north. These cap influxes are derived from polar rain , particle assimilation through our polarity cycle into our geodynamo. We aren't getting near the numbers needed for sustained jet stream levels and ionospheric particle averages. We will see above average temps for the next 3 to 6 months and next winter will be a russian bear. Europe will be frozen solid and I do have climatic data for this just not sure if I can share it, yet , will if I can. My hands have been slapped many times.
This weather is far from over , we will see bad cycles for another month.

When you consider the curent exchange in our suns levels and realize this has been greatly altered by sheer lack of FLARE output which is the initial catalyst in solar weather, you understand the factors involving plasmatic output. Its a cleansing if you will of a shedding sun. These minimums need to happen and we should be clear that if they don't we've got a dying star on our hands. This along with other events makes this a time for reasonant science to mix with spiritual gleaming. this is a monumental time peiod to experience. Peace all, high fives to you Angel!

This somewhat explains the slow rush for polarity flip. I know the folks here know this stuff already, but this explains it pretty well for someone coming on the scene.Peace

Back in againhi

Incredible behaviour going on over the West Limb from region 1678 [link to sdodata.oma.be] [link to sdodata.oma.be] [link to sdodata.oma.be] : )

Looks to have fired off one large CME.

On the East we have recurrent CH556 that has taken the shape of the AOL Logos last time round and migrated from the South to the North(pretty sure it is this one I have been watching) - I think I can see it again taking the same shape as the AOL Logos in the next Day or so,you may be able to see what I mean on this Channel [link to sdodata.oma.be] (North-East).

Here are Todays Solar Stats. from Solen -

'The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled on February 23. Solar wind speed at SOHO ranged between 323 and 381 km/s under the decreasing influence of a low speed coronal hole stream.

Solar flux measured at 20h UTC on 2.8 GHz was 99.6 (increasing 1.9 over the last solar rotation). The Potsdam WDC planetary A index was 6 (STAR Ap - based on the mean of three hour interval ap indices: 6.3). Three hour interval K indices: 31022022 (planetary), 31012212 (Boulder).

The background x-ray flux was at the class B4 level.

At midnight UTC the visible solar disk had 8 spotted active regions (in 2K resolution SDO images).

Region 11673 [S10W34] decayed slowly and quietly.
Region 11675 [N12W65] decayed slowly and quietly.
Region 11676 [S18W12] decayed slowly and quietly as most of the umbral area disappeared.
Region 11677 [S26W11] reemerged with a penumbra spot.

Spotted regions not numbered by SWPC:
S2247 [S15E35] lost one spot and gained another further north.
S2248 [S18E19] gained a penumbra spot.
S2249 [N00W07] was quiet and stable.
New region S2250 [N24W08] emerged with a penumbra spot
' [link to www.solen.info] .

And a decent Plot [link to www.solen.info] 'The northern polar field reversed in June 2012 while the southern polar field could reverse early in 2013'

Hope all is relativesunhf

I'll comment more on this later, but solen is mistaken in his interpretation of the data. The observatory he is sourcing his graph on last had a good view of the Sun's north pole in September 2012, and it was still negative polarity.

It most certainly did not reverse in June! More later.
