Anhedonia had this interesting comment today on another thread about the new movie Oz. I found this helpful in understanding what the fascination is with this stuff and also why is all seems like a collasle waste of time to me. I didn't get the quote thingy correct.

'satan' is a mythological metaphor created by man. A thought-form that only exists to those who consciously choose to subscribe to this thought form. 'satan' is not a universal truth. One must investigate and learn why these 'thought-forms' were created and utilized to impart messages on the masses:


'satan' is a mythological creation of man, a metaphor for the attributes/characteristics associated with the carnal mind of the physical flesh. Look into the nature of mythology, look into the meaning behind the term 'anthropomorphism' and try and perceive from a psychological standpoint why such a practice was utilized to spread messages to the masses at a time when many were not able to read & write. There was a different level of collective awareness and understanding back then. They did not have fancy psychological terms and the access to the information and the knowledge that we possess today. So they would take human qualities & characteristics and assign them to mythological characters and utilize those representations as a means for encouraging or discouraging certain types of behavior in individuals. Take all the bad shit about human behavior and attribute to a scary figure known as 'satan' and then discourage the masses from acting like this figure. Makes sense doesn't it?

'satan' is not a unique character. Look at all the 'death deities' that have been created by various cultures at different times in human history and stated to represent the Lord/King/God of the 'underworld'

A thought-form can only exist as long as individuals consciously choose to feed energy to it. That is why it always puzzles me to see those who profess to stand with 'God' always speaking about 'satan' and trying to identify 'satan' in things that they perceive. They are unknowingly fueling the very thought-form they claim to stand against. Maybe they don't realize it.

'God'/Creator/Higher Power can exist without the character known as 'satan'.

My point of stopping by was to say that the region above old 1678(?) that was extremely hot as it turned the limb still looks to be just as exited [link to sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov] .

Beyond the North-East limb(is that 1678?)

Thanks, sonic. Wow, what a difference a year makes. Last year we had a proton storm on this date. I did some math and we've seen 263 sunspot regions since old faithful 1429 last march. Now look......Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Double peaked

Here's the big Earth-directed CME from last year. It was from an M8.4 LDE which lasted 7 hours and the geomagnetic storm it caused was severe. Yes, THAT storm which is still talked about today in mythological space-lore. The ACE Satellite and NASA models got all screwed up and caused great fuss and consternation around the globe.
