AR1718 has developed nicely and produced 3 C-flares while I slept. The largest C1.7 was from AR1711 and was initially missed by Solarsoft.

Hello Da' - It looks,I think, like it is related to what you can see on COR2 right now, that badass Streamer going CME,if you pause the COR1 at 03:05 you will notice that it changes there with a two Hour gap,so it isn't as sudden as it looks, but all the same is pretty fooking intense looking!

Pause the COR2 Ahead [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] around 03:05 - 05:05 and see if the reason is noticeable : )

Looks like Sol got Ejecta in line!

The Corona by the way Da'f is not of one fixed size and does vary alot in area, but I think you would know that by now,you look at it enough to have noticedhf

Hello 66,Guten Tagsun

That region is the little punchy bugger I saw throwing minifits on H alpha Yesterday, little cutie it is : )

Is it possible to have a Tripolar Sun during Migration [link to www.solen.info]

Or has it gone Quadripolar again,I think I heard the Japanese saying something like that recently, less I dreamt it!?
(how is 'dreamt' not in the US spellchecker!?)

We have 11 numbered Regions, that will bump up the Sunspot count a little.

Solen says -

'The background x-ray flux was at the class B4 level.

At midnight UTC the visible solar disk had 11 spotted active regions (in 2K resolution SDO images).

Region 11708 [N11W36] decayed slowly and quietly.
Region 11710 [S22W42] decayed slowly and quietly.
Region 11711 [S18W02] was quiet. New penumbra spots formed to the southeast of the single large spot.
Region 11713 [N09W20] developed slowly and quietly.
Region 11714 [N12E28] was quiet and stable.
Region 11715 [N17W27] was quiet and stable.
New region 11716 [S20E34] rotated into view on April 1 and was numbered by SWPC 4 days later.
New region 11717 [S12E67] emerged with several spots.
New region 11718 [N22E46] emerged quickly with several spots. C flares are possible
.
New region 11719 [N08E80] rotated into view. While there's only one spot with penumbra, a negative polarity area is sandwiched between 2 positive polarity areas. C5+ flare: M2.2 at 17:48 UTC.

Spotted regions not numbered by SWPC:
S2337 [S07E55] was quiet and stable

Forecast

The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet on April 6-8. Quiet to unsettled is likely on April 9-10 due to effects from CH564
' [link to www.solen.info]

The Region on the east from 1717 to S2337 is completely Cross Equatorial [link to sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov] .

C1.1/2 Flare from 1718 and simultaneous 1715 [link to halpha.nso.edu]

I think we may have some serious Convective transportation issues a'gwannin' under the surface folks, that is more simultaneous occurrences to add I have noticed in the last 2 Weeks.

There was also this one [link to sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov] but that would have been possibly more related to Field lines above the surface.

I am(just started to)looking for a possible sub-surface mechanism for actual Sunspot Flares that occur simultaneous with others at large distance - Though they could be just PFS related,I will be checking anyway.

All stones and thatwink

Its looking more and more possible for a string of missing or off cycles. The missing jet streams really strikes it home. We 'should' have a time period of magnetic jumble before polarity rights itself anew, maybe some decent events at that time, which that time should be close at hand. Peace all

What am I reading,at present?

[link to iopscience.iop.org]

Here is the Abstract -

'ABSTRACT
Solar models using the new lower abundances of Asplund et al. or Caffau et al. do not agree as well with helioseismic inferences as models that use the higher Grevesse & Noels or Grevesse & Sauval abundances. Adopting the new abundances leads to models with sound-speed discrepancies of up to 1.4% below the base of the convection zone (CZ) compared to discrepancies of less than 0.4% with the old abundances; a CZ that is too shallow; and a CZ helium abundance that is too low. Here we briefly review recent attempts to restore agreement, and we evaluate three changes to the models: early mass loss, accretion of low-Z material, and convective overshoot. One goal of these attempts is to explore models that could preserve the structure in the interior obtained with the old abundances while accommodating the new abundances at the surface. Although the mass-losing and accretion models show some improvement in agreement with seismic constraints, a satisfactory resolution to the solar abundance problem remains to be found. In addition, we perform a preliminary analysis of models with the Caffau et al. abundances that shows that the sound-speed discrepancy is reduced to only about 0.6% at the CZ base, compared to 1.4% for the Asplund et al. abundances and 0.4% for the Grevesse & Noels abundances. Furthermore, including mass loss in models with the Caffau et al. abundances may improve sound-speed agreement and help resolve the solar lithium problem'

End.

Though this was published in 2010,things may again need to have been revised a little - I haven't completed reading yet.

Some more ass covering in 2001 - 'The Sun's Chilly Impact on Earth' [link to www.giss.nasa.gov]

Disclaimer at the end - '"The period of low solar activity in the middle ages led to atmospheric changes that seem to have brought on the Little Ice Age. However, we need to keep in mind that variations in solar output have had far less impact on the Earth's recent climate than human actions," Shindell said. "The biggest catalyst for climate change today are greenhouse gases," he added'.

LoL.

Shine on you crazy Germans.

Re: SOLAR WATCH * 312 M & 25 X FLARES starting 3-7-2011 (Updated Daily)

Been looking at this graph [link to www.solarham.net] and noticing that once this group of spots pass by, there really isn't anything else. What is facing us is so small without much growth that it just keeps looking more and more like the Grand Min we have all mentioned.

Am I on the right track?

Like I have been saying,24 is the last Cycle for a little.

And it may have already been over, may have,I hold hope but really.

Its looking more and more possible for a string of missing or off cycles. The missing jet streams really strikes it home. We 'should' have a time period of magnetic jumble before polarity rights itself anew, maybe some decent events at that time, which that time should be close at hand. Peace all

Here - [link to esa-spaceweather.net] Yes,this is not 'EU' Specific.

Hate to say it,but Electricity is a Secondary event and not a base fundamental, unless it can be shown that Electricity causes Gravity and not Gravitational caused events inform Electricity production through Electro-magnetism.

If that can be shown then we end up with no need for God what-so-ever(unless he is it)as Electricity driven system would imply a self feeding and recycling feedback system that wouldn't need a 'Genesis'.

Hahahaaa, just shows how much Theories are at the end of the Day,based on the need to clarify the first Words of the Book.

The Big-Bang serves this Papal bullshit perfectly, and has done for ages,as does the standard 'Particle' model(as it defines boundaries amidst the the obvious interconnection of everything, example;Planck Time, lol)

Guys,This [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] is fucking intense!

Behind looks cool also.

You can see the major CME from the Norther regions on COR2 [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] but the bitches won't update that since 15:54UTC - We have it on COR1 Behind [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] in full.

We also appear to have a Earthbound CME on COR2,it is faint, but it looks like it is coming this way.

Now Kith.
