Every earth-facing SS either dies or just sits there and does nothing. It has happened before and it happens again. I don't know why the SS are doing that every time, but it is happening and it should be investigated more.

hi

Isis, Da, sol'patrol,

Punching in to report many nights of late late twilight too, noticed since this spring. Does not fit with all prior years living at same location. Atlantic province in canada. Yes, seasonal path of sun factored in already.

I hear Cesium has similar experience recently, and is flummoxed at it, and a bit shy to mention it... tounge

Shine on, sol'crew sun

"Ah, well the lights had probably gone."
"So had the stairs."
"But look, you found the notice, didn't you?"
"Yes," said Arthur, "yes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying Beware of the Leopard."

hi : )

My observation, on sunday night:
@11pm, the north-west & north horizon was still clearly lit, under cloud line, bright pink sunset. WAY later than usual.

On saturday night,
I noticed the similar brightness as late as 11:30pm.

Right now monday night, 11:15, brightness all gone. Was still on at 10:45 though. Will check later in case it comes back on... never know what to expect now... ô_Ô

Thanks for the input SoLsis.

It must be a combination of the state of our atmo/magnetosphere and the "new" sun.

Could it all go back to normal? probably not, all this at the moment is for a reason.

I can for sure say the ultimate outcome is not an iceage either.

We are all on this ride together, we chose this awesome moment in history.

AR1787 is now Beta-Gamma-Delta-
:7/9-1787mag:

AR1785 is showing signs of slight decay; however don't be fooled, these regions are magnetically connected and either one could trigger a large flare or eruption in the other. And don't forget it was '87 which produced the M-flare as it rounded the limb last week. The last double-humped flare, although small (C2/B9), demonstrates their interconnectedness-

Solar Activity

.24 hr Summary...
Solar activity was low. Region 1785 (S09W16, Ekc/beta-gamma-delta)
remained the sole flare producer with a couple C-class flare during the
period. The largest of these was a C9/Sf at 08/0122 UTC. Slight
penumbral decay was noted in the trailer of Region 1785 and a delta
magnetic configuration was evident in its intermediate spots. Region
1787 (S14E03, Eac/beta-gamma-delta) showed gradual penumbral growth in
its trailer spots and a magnetic delta configuration developed in its
intermediate spots.
Region 1784 (S15W62, Bxo/beta) gradually decayed
during the period. There were no Earth-directed coronal mass ejections
(CME) observed during the period.

Supernova Stellar Core Collapse Supercomputer Model-

But there’s a problem: Theorists just can’t get their model supernovae to explode. In simulations, the shock wave stalls out and never reaches the surface. Until recently, however, these intensive calculations have been made in only one or two dimensions.

This week, a team of researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics announced a 3D simulation of the initial stage of a supernova — the core collapse that gives birth to the neutron star. In a video of their simulation, released Tuesday, the shock undergoes a spectacular sloshing behavior called a “standing accretion shock instability.” (Don’t go looking for your 3D anaglyph glasses though — the video itself is traditional 2D.) In future work, they hope to address whether this could help propel the shock through the star.

More on the IRIS Solar Observatory mission-

"Scientists still wrestle with basic questions about our star, and none is more challenging than why its temperature soars from a hot 6,000 kelvins at the photosphere (visible surface) to a blazing 1,000,000 K atmosphere in the lower corona, across just 1,200 miles (2,000 km). NASA scientists hope that this newest solar sentinel — the Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS), launched last Thursday, June 27th — will help unravel this and other solar mysteries. "

None of the standard models work when you plug em into the supercomputers.

The reason Einstein (or anyone else) couldn't make his equations fit with Quantum Mechanics is because the Solid, Liquid & Gaseous types of matter only make up just 00.01% of our known universe or in other words, not a lot. Plasma Physics and an Electric Universe on the other hand include the other 99.99%\; in their equation and so the physics fit with QM. In order for Einstein's equations to work Dark Matter had to be be invented and when they still didn't work, they had to invent Dark Energy.

and now it comes down to an issue of religion and pride, mainstream is catered to Athiest style thinking.

quick and easy question: someone usual sunbaths without a lotion? i've never used any lotion even after a hole day at the beach and i'm always fine, with a nice tan. also, i change my skin every summer and that makes me feel good. never had a sunburn!

but no one else i know can do this. the sun makes their skin turn red in just a few hours. why am i different? (no, i'm not black)
