Quoting: old guard The magnetosphere is doing strange things again, with the solar wind speed at only 279.8 [nict.go.jp] I'm having a hard time believing that of all the activity happening on the sun, there are no earth bound anything. Trying to understand.... I have been noticing intense Electromagnetic energy over ULF at times when our Sun had zero to no activity, no flare, no cme's etc... Which I found mind boggling. I wrote it off as possibly originating from this Ribbon. Most people are unaware that we have no understanding of how lightning is created in clouds. The simplest answer is that lightning is not generated there at all. Clouds merely form a convenient path to Earth for electricity originating in space. Without clouds it is possible to have a "bolt from the blue". That is happening on Venus (although the sky certainly isn't blue). Weather systems are driven primarily by external electrical influences. Quoting: scienceConsequently the Sun has weather patterns. And the most distant planet, Neptune, has the most violent winds in the solar system though it receives very little energy from the Sun. Electric discharges from space cause Mars' huge dust devils and planet-wide dust storms. They are responsible for Jupiter's Great Red Spot and the "spokes" in Saturn's rings. It is why Venus has lightning in its smog-like clouds and its mountain-tops glow with St. Elmo's fire. It is why the Earth has lightning stretching into space in the form of "red sprites" and "blue jets", and why tethered satellites "blow a fuse". space in this context is that WITHIN our heliosphere. denser plasma IS entering our heliosphere from "fluffy" denser plasma = higher charge thus within our heliosphere, "space" containing increasing charge is progressively more a cause of electrical effects in conjunction to our sun An email reply from Dr. Perrat. Quoting: xenusRegarding plasma/aurora phenomena over Norway. >Hi, just a couple of days ago I came across your paper >Characteristics for the Occurrence of a HighCurrent ZPinch Aurora as >Recorded in Antiquity, it was fascinating and I was just wondering >if th[at] was indeed one of the plasma phenomena as seen in the >petroglyphs found all over the world. The timing of such an event >could not have been any weirder, since I had only just found your >paper. I would also like to know if you think this was natural or >man made? I am curious to see if this "anomaly" was due to EISCAT >research centre or if indeed it is caused by cosmic ray flux or some >other kind of space event. This event was natural and occurs when two Birkeland currents interact, usually around 300 -500 km above Earth. Birkeland currents most often occur in pairs because of the 1/r attractive force between them. This is not an EISCAT heating phenomena. Second reply. Today we have only very weak auroras in the upper ionosphere. In the past, as NASA's THEMIS satellites have discovered, they were a million-million times more energetic and located say, 1 million km from Earth. Petroglyphs are pictures of these, we know, from thermonuclear explosion pictures underground and very high energy experiments in canyons. Also, from supercomputer modeling. (I have to insert my question here for this to make sense) And one last thing, given the rise in cosmic ray flux recently and the drop in strength of the Interplanetary Magnetic Field, can we expect more of these types of events in the future? No, the cosmic flux will not change anything but dense plasma entering the solar system, as is now happening, will. Thread: PLASMA, its importance and why you should know about it. aether User ID: 1412926 United Kingdom 09/02/2011 09:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Earth's ionosphere is an outer region of the atmosphere that contains a high concentration of free electrons. Since scientists have observed electrical properties of the ionosphere for more than 100 years, why should they find the plumes' discovery "strange?" Answer: The plumes behavior indicates something that scientists have resisted for many decades -- that the Earth itself is a charged body moving in a plasma medium, and interacting electrically with its plasma environment. In the electric view of the Solar System, the Sun becomes a central player in the electrodynamics of planetary behavior. And exchanges between the Sun and Earth can be seen as the answer to numerous mysteries that have accumulated over decades. Quoting: science1) The earth, like all of the planets, is a charged body. Quoting: science2) The Sun has an electric field, and it interacts electrically with the planets. 3) The Sun is not powered by some mysterious, internal "nuclear furnace", but rather externally by electric currents flowing along the arms of the Milky Way. 4) 99.9% of the universe consists of PLASMA, a nearly perfect conducting medium that has been found to exhibit strong electrical properties, almost always ignored by astronomers. All of space is teeming with charged particles. [link to www.thunderbolts.info] |

That confirms my theory and thoughts on today's seismic activity. This is what I wrote on another thread today; This is beginning to worry me again. Picture a balloon filled with air, now picture a puzzle glued to that balloon full of air. Now picture that balloon loosing some air and the effects to the puzzle on that balloon from the lost of air. The puzzle loosens and starts to collapse on it's self due to the lost in air pressure. Now picture that puzzle as our mantle. This NICT activity reminds me of this scenario. Damn near no pressure and no force holding our mantle together. Quoting: old guard The magnetosphere is doing strange things again, with the solar wind speed at only 279.8 [nict.go.jp] I'm having a hard time believing that of all the activity happening on the sun, there are no earth bound anything. Trying to understand.... right now we only have background solar winds arriving and these are very low The speed during solar maximum tends to be lower than at other times, due to the presence of only low-speed solar wind. The solar wind temperature is also lower at solar maximum. this online doc has a complete full explination of this as well as solar cycle comparisons. included is all data. for anyone wanting to understand what is going on right now with the sun, this is a must read! [link to docs.google.com] In the ascending phase of the solar activity cycle and at solar maximum, the average solar wind speed slows, as the polar coronal holes shrink (and even disappear) and the high-speed flows narrow and weaken. At the same time, the ambient solar wind flow is increasingly perturbed by coronal mass ejections (CMEs). These are explosive eruptions of coronal plasma from closed magnetic field regions that reach a peak occurrence rate at solar maximum. Fast earthward-directed CMEs are responsible for nonrecurrent geomagnetic storms, which occur with the greatest frequency near solar maximum. [link to pluto.space.swri.edu] What has happened to the Sun? Solar wind speed drops to near 50-year low [link to theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com] on the 5th we will have the attival of solar winds from a earth facing Coronal Hole A solar wind stream flowing from the indicated coronal hole could reach Earth on or about Sept. 5th. Credit: SDO/AIA. [link to spaceweather.com] but NOAA states thie Coronal Hole wind will arrive as early as tomorrow IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet levels during day one (02 September). Activity is expected to increase to quiet to unsettled levels, with isolated active periods, on days two and three (03 - 04 September). This increase in activity is due to a recurrent coronal hole high speed stream that is expected to rotate into a geoeffective [link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] Join Me On The GLP SOLAR WATCH Thread Thread: SOLAR WATCH * Huge X8.2 Flare Sept. 10, 2017! This low Sun activity is going to bring about a small Ice Age. The rains we had will be Snow when winter hits. So brace North USA residents and Also Canada. We have already had a warning on our local news. PORTLAND – A La Niña Watch has been issued for the Northern Hemisphere by the National Weather Service's Climate Prediction Center. For Oregonians, that could translate into an especially cold, rainy and snowy winter – like last year. [link to www.kgw.com] My horses and other animals are still eating like they are not going to have any food. I had to feed them alfalfa for 3 months longer than normal. They are not kept in a barn, they are out in my fields with shelter, to come and go as they please. Our spring was 4wks behind. Most farmers lost their field of hay due to weathermen not being able to predict the weather right for atleast 2weeks and most people cut their hay and had it rained on. Last time my horses acted like this we had 3 ft of snow, which is definitely not normal for this area. Today, we will have a high temp of 96, with a over night low of 70 on Monday, 3 days from now we will have a high of 64 with a overnight low of 50 the high temp for Monday will he lower than tonights overnight low a 30 degree drop in 3 days there is something very wrong with that :/ i for one can NOT deal with a winter that is as cold, as our summer has been hot Tell me about it. I'm in Ohio. 2 weeks ago is when we finally got our summer. It's been cloudy and drizzly at times. Us, Oregonians, always laugh that we complain about the weather, cause we don't get the in between, it will be cold one day and hotter than hell the next.. We are finally having a hot week of almost 90. I haven't even put in the air conditioner. Why when it's only been summer for a few weeks. This is been the weirdest weather for us. The wind has been coming from a direction it doesn't normally come from. The deer hasn't been around here in the fields like normal. The elk usually stay in the field next to us and they aren't there. The animals have been acting like a cougar or bear are nearby, but no one has sited them. All neighbors communicate whether there is any around because of livestock and small kids. Vincent Price - “A man who limits his interests, limits his life.” |

Here is another precursor signal to an >5 quake to come popping up on the Yellowstone seismograph; Quoting: El Quisqueyano [link to theinterveners.org] The red scribble under 1615UTC. You see the red scribble on the top right? That was the precursor to the 7.1 in Alaska. You can take this new precursor to the bank. WHere it will strike is what I am not sure of yet. I have a precursor detected at 1620UTC/1220EST over ELF. I added it to my thread then noticed this. |
